Remember during the early 1970s when CBS News anchorman Walter Cronkite claimed to be an unbiased journalist despite his obvious slant against the Vietnam War? Now he's advertising his bias for all the world to see.
Along with former New York Gov. Mario Cuomo and a host of other leftists, Uncle Walter has his name on a full-page ad in today's New York Times that attacks President Bush's policy on Iraq.
"To which US national security interests does Saddam Hussein present a clear and present danger?" wonders the wide-eyed ad. Apparently the usual suspects who lent their names to the endeavor, including Laurence Tribe, Archibald Cox, Arthur Schlesinger Jr. and Stewart Udall, would rather wait for the bioweapons to start raining down on them.
Comical footnote: Among those who signed the statement are two noted experts on foreign policy - mass-market novelists Amy Tan and Richard North Patterson.

Why does he think anyone cares what he thinks anymore? He acts like he's some kind of senior statesman or ex-president.

If you remember after clinton's deposition in the WH, they left for Cape Cod or wherever it was up there and Cronkite provided the boat to take the clinton tribe out on the ocean with the press going gaga!
I find this absolutely disgusting. Cronkite has lost whatever little respect I had for him to begin with which wasn't much!

The self-described "most trusted man in America" has a long history of liberal bias and cooking the news for political ends. When Clinton was at his nadir in the Monica Lewinsky matter, old Walter made certain to have him as a guest on his yacht and to alert photogs to this blessed event.

Cronkite is typical of cbs "news" readers. Leftist, liberal rapist loving, impeached ex prez worshipping puppets. No surprise here.

I find this absolutely disgusting. I'll tell you what is disgusting,he was voted "The Most Trusted Man in America" during the 60's,and he even admitted on a PBS "Frontline" show about him that he was editing the film and reports to "send America in the direction she needed to go.",even as far back as the 1950's.

Here's one of Uncle Walter going for some grope of his own.

I remember that pic. Somebody here at FreeRepublic has a copy which depicts impeached-boy in an apparently aroused state. Watch for its posting. :-)

Cronkite? That lying liberal scumbag is still alive?

Walter is an unabashed one worlder, one of the worst UNamericans around.
