Great press release. I like the use of Torricelli/Lautenberg's machine in this release. I have started using Clinton DemocRAT Party to describe the RATs as of today. This has all of both clintons fingerprints all over it.

Torch hates Lautenberg and said he would not turn his campaign money over to him but today he has done just that. Would guarantee that the clintons made Torch an offer he couldn't refuse.

It's a nice press release, but until we start impeaching judges for legislating from the bench, this will continue to happen.

There is no question that this entire fix, right up to lining the NJ "Supreme" court up in advance was orchestrated by Clinton and his machine.

I remember an anecdote where, during a cabinet meeting, a Clinton cabinet member protested a course of action that was highly unethical and most likely illegal, and Clinton shouted her down by saying that if people in 1960 operated the way she wanted that Jack Kennedy would never have been elected, "and your telling me that the law or ethics were more important than beating Richard Nixon."

Clintonism is winning at all costs, it is Hitlerism with a smiley face.

I dunno. It's not plausible. It's a known fact that the two hate each other. It is the corrupt NJ Democrat machine that needs to go.

Hindsight's 20-20, but it seems the GOP lawyers blew it. They should have known the lay of the land. The argument was always going to be whether or not a remedy was feasible. It was never going to be about the letter of the law. They should have known that. Water under the bridge.

Now the job is to campaign and win. If they take their same inept lawyers to the next level, what do they expect to accomplish? I can tell you what they will accomplish: More embarrassment for NJ. More delays and chaos in this election. More politicization of our courts.

I'm just speaking off the top of my head. Maybe I am dead wrong. It has been a long, bad day today for anyone who lives in NJ and cares deeply about our government and our country. I am mad at the world today. So maybe I am wrong. But they won't win this in court. They have to campaign. Take the gloves off and slam these sleazebags.

The offer that they made to Torch was probably to make sure that he gets off easy in court. I'll bet the Demo leadership told him: "Look at what we did to Traficant. Be a good boy, get a slap on the wrist in court, and take a $500,000/yr no-show job as an outside consultant for a big company that you threw some political favors to. Or you can piss us off and do 20 years in prison. What'll it be, Torchie-boy?"

Tainted money, funded by the Torch. Interesting vulnerability here.
