I wonder which of Albert's aides is the prankster who hasn't told him that campaign 2000 is over already.

Gore has nothing major to say on anything. He's a pathetic has-been (who never shoulda been, in the first place). Why does the press give his every noxious exhalation such lavish coverage?

They know a speech from Algore is on the horizon when there has been a major spike in liquor sales in Algores neighborhood.

When Al Gore steps on his crank, he makes sure he's wearing golf shoes.

It is interesting that the Gore camp thinks they can make inroads on the economy as an issue. Republicans have traditionally been trusted by the public to do a better job in this area. The fact that X42 was still feeding off the Reagan legacy seems to make the Dims confident that they were responsible for the overall upsurge. The human ability to delude itself never ceases to amaze me.

His last speech was overshadowed by Daschle's tirade (on purpose?). Will it happen again?

Gore's Iraq speech in San Francisco last week galvanized Democratic concerns over Bush's plans for a military move ...Nice bias, Reuters. You guys, like the NYT, don't even bother trying to be objective anymore, do you?

Psst! Al! Tell the American people they need their tax rates trippled! I think it will sell. I think they will sweep you into the White House in 2004 is you promise to do it. Mention that lockbox thing, too!
I gotta feeling his economic speech will be every bit as successful as his foreign policy speech.

How dare Algore and the Dems-- trying to politicize the Recovering Economy (aka Clinton-Gore recession).
It's outrageous, outrageous I tell you, and I demand an apology.

Like I would listen to a bunch of garbage from a person that has never held a private sector job, yet has been on this earth over 50 years.

Gore's speeches fall into two catagories: one, a plausible alternative to traditional sedatives, two, watching another Psycho sequel, with him as Norman Bates' distant cousin. Either way, everything he does is contrived, and contrived badly.

Bush will get the jump on Gore. Expect something big to come from Bush in the next day or two to get the press all a-twitter. Gore's diatribe will get lost in the shuffle.

Why is Gore such an authority over every thing? Where is his proof? It would best that the media keep ther mikes and cameras in a "lockbox". Algore dosen't have any solutions.
