Could all of this "voter confusion" just be another Rat scare tactic? Consider this: voters (especially elderly or immigrant/new voter) are scared into believing that they do not have the mental capabilities to properly indicate their candidates. Then a party rep calls them at home (via taped message) and says "not to worry, you can just click the "Rat Party" straight ballot option and approve all of the Rat candidates this election cycle.

Sure someone could explain to these voters that they are sacrificing choice for convenience but they don't really want to listen anyway.
