Gore saying Bush has abandoned Afghanistan WE ARE STILL FREAKIN THERE!!! (pulling hair out in bunches now!!!)
To: mombonn
Well, hey, ok! Now I can understand how the Flori-DUH voters confused Gore with Buchanan!
whew! Yeah, people will be talking about this one for sure tonight. But not in the positive way they're suggesting!
To: vollmond
"what if al Qaeda infiltrates into a weakened defeated Iraq and walks in and takes Iraq's WMDs?"
He also doesn't understand what Al Qaeda is.

"Pat Buchanan praised gore's speech. I hope the remaining Buchananites will be finished with him after this..." Go Pat Go!!!
(Far Away!)
To: Hillary's Lovely Legs
Well, gore know clinton is out there ripping the President, so why not? clinton/gore have turned protocol on it's head. MSNBC ripping President Bush bigtime now!

He felt betrayed by the first administrations hasty departure from the battle field - particularly in light of what happened to the shiites and the kurds. First he says that he, in his infinite wisdom, thinks that the United States should operate within the context and bounds of "international law" and the UN - THEN, in the next breath he says he feels "betrayed" because we didn't go beyond the mandate of the UN and "international law" when liberating Kuwait - and that we did not, unilaterally, go all the way to Baghdad and remove Saddam.
Obviously, he is suffering from cognitive dissonance in his desire to be relevant and in his hatred for the Bush's. He just needs to keep his trap shut as no sane person believes he is at all credible on this and many other subjects.

Pat thinks the whole thing was concocted by Sharon and is serving you-know-who's interests.

The RATS can't be happy about this. This keeps Iraq even more "on the front burner"...hehehehe... Poor RATS. Is this the best they've got? I'm posting without reading ahead, but a few things struck me. First, what's with the little curl in the middle of his forehead? Perhaps Naomi told him that would soften his image. I'm pretty sure he's had his hair dyed since his appearance in Florida last week. Second, his Southern accent is extremely toned down. In Florida he practically dripped corn pone, but he's reigned in the "I'm Al, The Good Old Boy From Tennessee" act for this West Coast crowd. And lastly, he is lying -- I'm appalled! One of the first whoppers to fall from his mouth was that the war on terror is more difficult and lengthy than expected. Where has he been for the last year? The President has constantly and consistently said this war would be long and hard.

Bil Schneider saying that polls now show that the public mood has shifted, and now cite Iraq, and not the economy, as the top issue of the fall elections. But was still completely spinning the Dem arguments on the issue.
To: Diddle E. Squat
So, is Gore still talking or has he finally shut the hell up?
To: Dog
Gore is utterly selfish and gives not a damn for his country or his party. Not only is he dissing American interests and security, he is determined to undermine his own party leaders just to prop himself up for 2004.
Keep it up, RATS. The country has changed post-9/11, and you just don't get it.

Landmark speeches are often interrupted by commercial messages. Buchannan is merely pleasing his bosses at msjfujnfhbc.
To: Numbers Guy
I dunno, myself and the news channels turned away a good bit ago.
To: AngryJawa
You're right(I think)....blame the gif site and me.
To: Diddle E. Squat
If Iraq is now the top mid-term issue, as CNN suggests, then Gore has just led his party to ruin in the mid-terms.

Gore doesn't know how to tell the truth - just like his master, the great clinton. Nancy Pelosi now on CNN talking against the Iraq war. Pelosi will vote against the war resolution. Says daschle told them all to vote their conscience. Says RATS will come up with their own resolution as an alternative - LOL! Let them argue some more against themselves. Keeps their issues totally off the table. Blair to speak tomorrow on his dossier! Yay! 5:30 am tomorrow morning! I'll have to get up early!!!

"Pat says Jeb will find him hard to beat, perhaps"Sheesh...I go off and do something else...lose the err...THREAD of the thread, and am now wading through hundreds, instead of tens, of replies, so somebody probably already answered this: Jeb's ahead of McLawyer by about 10 points. That's Zogby, so Jeb's numbers are probably actually higher.
