Dear God, he's actually seems to be arguing for Saddam to stay in power for our own good.
Saying how we will not help Iraqi's after we dump Hussein.

this DOES put Gore in the same political level as Pat Buchanan, doesn't it?Yup, they're both blithering idiots suffering from severe delusions of grandeur.

But they will now ... think about Iraq I mean, thanks to the dims disgusting politicizing of what might mean our very survival.

Saying we must look at "consequences of military victory" when we "walk away from Iraq"
This is suicide. Every Republican running for office should ask their opponents if they agreed w/ Gore's speech.

Pat Buchanan says this powerful speech will be the talk of the town in Washington! I am sickened by Pat, Press and Harwood. They are not for what is right for this country - they are just against President Bush.

I am pretty sure Blair speaks tomorrow...

"what if al Qaeda infiltrates into a weakened defeated Iraq and walks in and takes Iraq's WMDs?" My God, he's arguing that it's safer for Saddam to stay in power than to have a weakened Iraq under our control?
And is he really stupid enough to think that once we oust Saddam that we'll leave all the naughty weapons lying around?
Gore is more than a bit on the dim side. He's effectively saying that things would be better if Saddam stayed in power than if we overthrew him.
To: finnman69
LOL now MSNBC internet feed dumped him....LOL

Is the phantom "Democratic position on Iraq" that the New Republic and other lib journalists have been begging for? If so, they picked the wrong messenger. This can only make the other Dem wannabes look better in comparison

Re#163, Great find. I am bookmarking this thread just for your reply.

That nasal prissy voice of his...omg, I couldn't stop laughing through the whole speech!
It was also so easy to poke holes in everything he said, if I was a DUMBOCrat I'd be depressed that he's the "best" they got! LOL
To: Wait4Truth
Help me out here. Did Quayle have press conferences in 1994 about anything that Clinton was doing? Will ex Vice Presidents start shooting their mouths off in the future?
"what if al Qaeda infiltrates into a weakened defeated Iraq and walks in and takes Iraq's WMDs?" If Gore really said that, he's just making the point that Saddam has WMD and we need to take care of this now.
To: frmrda
I can't find AlGore anywhere on TV (not that I'm looking that hard) I thought MSNBC was coming back to the speech -- but I feel better now--saw a quick clip of President Bush's speech today -- ahhh - a clear, strong message coming through from him

Hmmm...I thought it was Thursday...I could be wrong...but isn't Thursday when the British Parliament is meeting? That's when Tony is going to lay out his case.
To: finnman69
So he's "for" the Homeland Security Act, but just complaining about some employment thing?
