U.S. holds Sudanese pilot as possible threat

The U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service has detained at an unknown location a former Sudanese Air Force pilot who may have been planning to hijack an airliner and fly it into a target in the United States, U.S. officials told CNN on Friday.

Remember that "solve all" directive to fortify cockpit doors? Well, the best way to commit horror in the air now, will be to have pilots in the cockpit who are sleepers. Can you say "deliberate midair?" Maybe over downtown Chicago at mid-day? We have absolutely no control over who is in the cockpit on flights originating from foreign country's. At any given peak trffic period in the air, there are most likely 50~75 hurling hunks of Islam originated tin, each being piloted by people we have no control over. If you want to end terrorism, just ban all flights to this country from Islamic nations. If the elite in those places find out they are stuck in their own hell, you will see an instant end to terrorism. They have no guaranteed right to twist our nuts by coming here. Let them enjoy the beauty of what they have created in their own back yard.

Unless they are convicted of a felony before the election, they can still vote, so I don't think it will have a major impact on the outcome of any race.
