Coulter Stalker on O'Reilly Tonight! Tomorrow's Interview: A Man Who Once Met Andy Griffith
AN AMERICAN CITIZEN overheard three Muslims at a Shoney's restaurant laughing about Sept. 11 over breakfast.
"If people thought Sept. 11 was something, wait till Sept. 13."
"Do you think that will bring it down?"
"Well, if that won't bring it down, I have contacts. I'll get enough to bring it down."
Patriot Eunice Stone took down their license plate numbers and called the police as the mirthful Muslims left. (I'd give you the names, but they're too complicated. There's a reason they use numbers at Guantanamo.) Despite the racist hysteria sweeping the nation, the police did not rush out and start rounding up Arabs. They interviewed Stone in person to evaluate her credibility and corroborate her story.

By my count, the Muslims have given at least five versions of what happened. Eunice Stone has given one consistent story. She has been interrogated by law enforcement officials and is corroborated by another witness. Gotta go with Eunice Stone on this one.
I'm for stoning the Three Blind Mice, too.

I wonder about the possibility of a
deliberate setup for a
lawsuit .
Before you recommend I change the foil in my deerstalker cap,you should be made aware this is a very common ploy used in department stores.
A team of hustlers goes to great lengths to pretend they are shoplifting, and, if the store detective takes any kind of shortcut in making the apprehension, the hustlers-who have nothing illicit on them - are " in the money "; as the store will try to settle the claim before there is any adverse publicity.
What these three fine young gentlemen did sounds suspiciously like a money-raising scheme. The defendants would be : the woman, her son,the restaurant chain ( mainly because they're bound to have good insurance coverage ), and the State of Florida.
My advice : Stay tuned for further news on this case !

""Do you think that will bring it down?"
Blood pressure? Erection? Tomato prices? London Bridge? Western civilization?

One of the tip-offs in this story as to who's lying and who's telling the truth is the fact that Mrs. Stone has offered to take a lie detector test, the Muslims have all refused. Lie detector results are not admissible in criminal court, but if these "gentlemen" choose to file a civil suit, that offer and their refusal WILL come out in court. As another poster said on FR yesterday, it's entirely apprpriate in these circumstances that "a redneck waitress dropped a dime on three Muslims." Actually, Mrs. Stone is a nurse.

More to the point, yes the Muslim's feelings were hurt. But its a given after 9-11 that better hurt feelings than lost lives. As Ann so eloquently wrote, all that has to do was fess' up and they'd have been forgiven. Lying FIVE times doesn't get you anywhere and it shouldn't. Eunice Stone at least has a consistent story and after a Al Qaeda cell was later uncovered up North in Buffalo, worries about terrorists roaming in this country isn't simply the invention of a paranoid Southern redneck. We'll get incidents like the one in Florida that turn out to be false alarm, but each and every incident should still be reported to the authorities so they can determine what the real threats are. And no, despite what liberals think, no one is persecuting Muslims and Arabs wantonly in America, which I think speaks well of the decency of our national character after 9-11. Its too bad its not a sentiment reciprocated in the other part of the world. When challenged, we should all just cite in response, "Danny Pearl."

I agree completely. I also always believed this was the case in the lawsuits against Denny's. I have also worked in retail and been taunted by "pretend" shoplifters.

LOL! I absolutely loved this article - made my night. Ann doesn't just stick it to 'em, she deftly jabs then twists as she inserts the dagger.
Slowly, she turned, step by step....

Third, they tried out the hysterical-woman defense -- used to great effect by Democrats in the Clinton era. Ahhh, the old Nuts and Sluts defense.
Yesterday I saw little Tommy using the old algore "Everything that should be up is down." They really should get some new material!
