I usually don't like to comment on this subject, and this is the first time I have since I joined F.R. a year ago yesterday.

I am a Catholic. I believe God loves us ALL, but I don't believe He loves the things some people do. Everyone should be welcome in the church, but the church shouldn't be 'celebrating' them or condoning what they do.

You said it very well. The Bible is not just a book. Why don't we have a service to celebrate adulterers and adultresses?

rainbows -- a symbol of unity in the gay community

It is no coincidence that the rainbow has been co-opted by the homosexual movement. The father of lies repeatedly attempts to profane the holy. He cannot create, he can only pervert and destroy. The picture associated with the lead article is yet another example.

This will not change: the rainbow is forever a symbol of God’s faithfulness. It is a banner of His covenant.

Is it a coincidence that a community known for its promiscuousness defiles a symbol of undying faithfulness? Let he who has ears hear: there is no such thing as a spiritual coincidence.

My heart goes out to my brothers and sisters in the Catholic church, my family in Christ. Take heart and know the cleansing of the Bride is underway.

As for the poor misguided souls who blindly participate in mocking the Father of Lights, may they repent and receive His mercy before their blindness becomes eternally fatal. If they don’t, I doubt they’ll find comfort in the fact their end will not come by water.

I can't believe these priests are being allowed to do things like this! The world is becoming a very scary place, and a lot of it happened during the 'immoral' Clinton years!

I wish there had been more protesters outside that church, and hopefully some inside were praying for the others to change their lifestyle!!

Why don't we have a service to celebrate adulterers and adultresses?

Or necrophiliacs?

This is a travesity in a parish whose patron would have NEVER approved such a peversion of the Mass, which is the most perfect kind prayer there is. He is also the patron of the high school I went to, and I have the highest respect for his wisdom and spirituality. Purge the Church of these peverts! Usually, we can do it this in a Christian way (Love the sinner, hate the sin), but since they are infecting the Church with their filth, it's time to kick them out! Use the power of excommunication! Other than this, all we can do is pray that they are converted from their wicked ways, or let God sort them out.

Go to the website for the Diosese of Cleveland and look at the part that supports homosexuals. Being the niece of a former Bishop of Cleveland (now retired), this scares the crap out of me. My sister, who after two husbands and four children has decided she is a lesbian, finds comfort in the homosexual Catholic community there. She even claimed to have found a priest who will "marry her" to her lover. God help them all.

Funny how when one says to a homosexual that it is not natural, they will reply with, "It must be right because God made me this way." To this line of BS I reply, "Yes and the pediphiles think the same way...." Holy God, forgive them for they know not what they do.
