FLORIDA "TERROR SCARE" DETAINEES TO REFUTE CHARGES Medical students deny threats, running through toll booth, being "uncooperative"
WHAT: On Sunday, September 15, the Florida office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-FL) will hold a news conference at which the three Muslim medical students detained during Friday's "terror scare" in that state will refute charges that they perpetrated a "hoax," ran through a toll booth or were "uncooperative" with authorities.
The men were stopped after a restaurant patron in Georgia said she hear them making "alarming" comments about the 9/11 attacks and about a possible future terrorist attack. They were released without charge after being detained for 17 hours. Since their release, CAIR-FL assisted the men in obtaining legal representation. Their attorneys will also attend the news conference.
"We are very concerned that mere suspicions, possibly based on prejudice and stereotyping, could so damage the lives and livelihood of hard-working young people whose only wish is to defend their reputations and complete their medical education," said CAIR-FL Executive Director Altaf Ali.
Ali added that the rising tide of anti-Muslim rhetoric in our society can trigger discrimination by a bigoted minority. He said that just this weekend, a mosque under construction in Northern Virginia was attacked by vandals.

They weren't. I'm assuming the FBI let them run so they could lead them somewhere. Hopefully, this situation will be reversed shortly.
I really fault two groups for this mess: the authorities, because somebody leaked her identity and they should have warned her not to go public; and the media, who don't seem to care how many lives they put in danger as long as they don't have to do any real work.
There was no way this woman's identity should have been given out to the press. These guys are deadly and they would kill her and her family in a heartbeat--to prevent her testimony if they could get to her in time, or for revenge after the fact.
It seems to me that someone among the authorites was incredibly stupid, or deliberately set her up. Giving her name, city of residence, and personal information on TV put her and her family in the crosshairs. I hope the DOJ investigates that leak.
I feel sorry for Eunice, I believe her, but I wish she would have not given any interviews until the LE did their job....as reported yesterday on Fox that she will be giving no more interviews...wise decision and I bet a legal one.

That's exactly what's going on. And we must realize that all these moslems who come on talk shows and tell us things aren't as they seem, are lying to us.
I was reading another interesting quote which I'll post that the only moslems you can believe when they talk about the true nature of islam are the most radical ones, because they aren't the ones lying. All the others are.
So we (the infidels) are being duped every time we believe anything that comes out of their mouths. They are furthering their goals, and doing so by lying, which is considered a good work if it spreads islam.
I never have understood why some people don't "get it" and others push the envelope. For instance, I don't talk about hijacking in airports, do you?
As nearly as I can piece together, Eunice Stone did not seek publicity, but her name was leaked to a radio personality, Schmidt, by Georgia cop, I believe. Schmidt interviewed her by phone in the AM, and soon, according to her comments on Fox, her lawn was being trampled by a media frenzy.
She called Fox News, and they (for the value of a scoop), transported her to the studio, for which she thanked Fox on one of the many interviews she did that day.
She also said her son thought it was a hoax, and tried to discourage her (I can imagine my son doing the same thing, probably knowing what the resulting media frenzy might be.)
Remember, this lady is just a normal, everyday citizen who, through doing the very thing Americans have been encouraged to do for the last year, now finds herself the center of Islamic rage.
Would you want to subject your son to the same thing?
I hope she has a damn good lawyer, but whatever the outcome, she's already paid dearly.

Yes, I saw her on FNC, and heard her when she first ws on the phone with them. My question remains. Where is the 18 year old son, that could verify her story?
