I vaguely remember him when he got kicked out of Iraq saying they still had weapons they are working on and concealing. What is/has he been saying lately?

Oh, and Ritter's making a movie about Iraq (funded by a pro-Saddam Iraqi-American businessman), his recent trip to Iraq was funded by a PEACENIK organization (see my links), and supposedly he's co-writing a book with somebody over at Democratic Underground.

Use the link in post 103 to read what he said in 1998. Today, he is saying that Iraq is a toothless tiger, with no capability of nuclear weapons.

Before Iraq hid weapons from the inspectors. Now, the inspectors had got them all.

Before, the inspectors were hammed-strung by Iraq's duplicity. Now, all we need are inspectors because inspectors found all the weapons that Iraq had.

Another IGNORANT and INCORRECT comment. I said to damn all those that don't give Ritter's arguments any credibility cause he dares to speak out against the government line and Iraq.

How dare he do that. Why he's a traitor. Obviously paid off. Loves Islam. hates our country. The proof? Oh he doesn't like Bush and doesn't think we should send over 300,000 troops to invade Iraq.

Yeah, well I find the motives suspect for this invasion, and I look at the whole history of our involvement and it doesn't add up. And I thnk Ritter found out that the whole inspection thing was a sham and he was being used and he, unlike others wasn't going to rollover and just accept it.

But when another marine, say Oliver North, comes out and does something everyone agrees with, everybody always mentions that he was a marine and has honor, so on and so on.

All I'm saying is, Ritter may be wrong, he may be duped. But he may be right. I don't trust Butler, he's very smooth. I would doubt his veracity before Ritter's. Let's face it freepers, wouldn't you normally trust a Marine over a career Diplomat in a given situation?

NO I think that title should go to the one (George Bush x41, who's so upset that anyone would dare question the CIA for letting 9/11 happen)who was ultimately responsible for letting the invasion of Kuwait happen, and our response, which ended up killing US Troops and infecting thousands more with Gulf War Syndrome, probably as a result of the pills given out by us.

Sounds to me like he got it right since you're about the only one here who thinks Ritter isn't a traitor. Looks to me like you're a little confused about who is off base here.

BTW, what does being and former marine have to do with his having been turned ? A rotten one can even sneak into the corp on occasion. Ritter was a former weapons inspector who once said that Saddam was a threat. Seems to me he has a history of turning on a dime or is it $400K
