"Texans believe the shortest distance between A and B is a straight line."No, Texans believe that the shortest distance between A and B is to throw a lariat around B and pull it right next to A. There's none of this "traveling a straight line from A to B". If you forcibly move point B next to point A, the distance is always zero.

With THIS President, words mean something. My cup runneth over hearing this good man and real leader speak with moral conviction.

"He said it wasn't US that was starving the children of Iraq"
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Peter Jennings was fighting back tears last night after that ABC special, which was excellent, BTW.

Woohoo! I love watching Dubya in action. He sure shut up the whiny liberals in the newsroom here.

Can you believe this.... Peter Jennings just said it was, a speech of great moral clarity, the kind we've come to expect from the president.
I just saw pigs flying outside my window

Must be awful chilly in Hell I guess.

Jennings ended up with an entire dozen eggs on his face after the 60 Minutes interview last night.
He's just kissing butt now.

I noticed that too -- no request for UN Inspectors -- would bet it won't be long until we have planes flying above the no-fly zone!

They interviewed a Mulsim girl who had been "unfairly" searched at the airport. What; did they look under the burqa, or something?

How did he get this job?
He's a communist. It's a pre-requisite.

The timing of the speech was exquisite and Kristol's comment seemed on target.

Peter jennings knows he is one dumb comment away from being fired.

I'm sure you'll have a change to see a replay on C-Span later today or this evening. He was masterful and, unlike his predecessor, the speech was short and to the point.
