MADRID, Sept 10 (Reuters) - A judge investigating a ring of suspected Muslim militants in Spain has thrown out an appeal by the alleged head of the group after his lawyers demanded autopsies on all of the victims of the September 11 attacks.
A court order obtained by Reuters included a list of demands by the lawyers of Imad Eddim Barakat Yarkas, alias Abu Dahdah, in an appeal against charges of involvement in the September 11 attacks. Dahdah is being held in a Madrid prison.
The lawyers asked for evidence of the cause of the collapse of New York's World Trade Centre after the hijacked planes crashed into them, as well as proof that the planes had actually been hijacked and that those suspected to be hijackers were among those killed.
High Court Judge Baltasar Garzon, who is overseeing the case, rejected the appeal on the grounds of improper procedure, adding: "The notorious facts (of the case) do no need specific proof and it seems obvious that the New York Twin Towers collapsed because of the impact of the planes, piloted by suicide terrorists who intended to get the result they did."
Abu Dahdah has denied any links with Osama bin Laden's al Qaeda, the network accused of carrying out the September 11 attacks which killed nearly 3,000 people.
Garzon, who ordered the arrest of the original group of alleged Islamic militants late last year, has cited contacts between Abu Dahdah with militants in Germany allegedly linked to attacks on the United States.
The contacts include Mohammed Atta, the Egyptian believed to have crashed one of the planes into the World Trade Center.

Dahdah I bet if we interrogated this guy properly, he'd be crying for his Dahdah. You just can't make up names like this.

This is why a regular court of law would never work when dealing with terrorists. These are evil creatures and they need to die the most horrific deaths possible.

Who are they to demand anything.

Some of the remains of the hijackers have already been identified. There is NO doubt.

Only 296 whole bodies were recovered. Of the remaining 3000+ people murdered at WTC, only half have been identified from DNA analysis of scraps of bone, bloodstains on girders, other small bits and pieces of flesh, as most had no identifiable body parts. The other half were disintegrated into less than dust.

Abu Dahdah and his hip-hop camel jockies.

They demand autopsies? At Cawnpore, the British made captured Sepoys lick the floor of the Bibi-Ghar clean, then executed them. Mix a little pig fat into the dust at Ground Zero, and that would be appropriate.

Wasn't there a pair of hands found, tied or something?
Give this guy to the Russians where he can be properly interrogated.

The judge should've used the old Cheech & Chong line:
"Bailiff, SLAP HIS PEE-PEE!"

Hey, we could use Judge Garzon over here to throw out 90% of the frivolous law suits and crazy appeals clogging our nation's courts.

Sounds like a trick out of the ACLU play book...

The British really do things in a classy way. The British executed the Sepoys by lashing them to logs. Then the logs were inserted in cannons and the cannons were fired. The Sepoys never rebelled again.
