Thanks, I couldnt get it to show properly.

Ummm, would you Freepers in Fl mind sending that storm out here to Colorado? We would be happy to take the rain off your hands.

Here is the 20 mile marker buoy off St Augustine. You can see the surface is still kind of flat.

If it holds together, it'll be in the Gulf. Bad, bad, bad.

Sure! Up until last May, we were in a drought situation here. Since then it's been rain every day (just about). The lakes and rivers are really filling up, so a dose from a tropical storm ought to really put the drainage system to the test.

peteram, don't you know it. projections for DeLand, Deltona, Geneva, and Sanford show some nasty flooding. Docks along the St. John's and lakes are already submerged.
Our brothers out West need rain badly - I wish we could pack it up and send it to you, taxcontrol (while we figure it out, practice your raindancing!)

If you can't get it all the way to Colorado, we'll take it in west/central NC! That might be a more manageable task .... :-)

What? Just yesterday it was heading norht of us!
To: cksharks
We have had almost no rain the last two weeks, but prior to that had 30" since June 1st.

Cedar Key always gets banged up a little bit every couple of years. You are lucky to be able to live there. It's a nice place.
To: cksharks
BTW, have they restarted building the school there?
To: stainlessbanner
Where is Geneva?
To: RedBloodedAmerican
They have a mind of their own and entitled to change it at a moments notice.
That's why they are called Herricanes. ;^)
To: Romulus
Let's hope so and let's hope it heads straight for Texas and comes in south of Corpus -- moves westward and then north. We need the rain!
To: RedBloodedAmerican
BTW, just looked at weather forecast for Daytona and I see that there is only a 60% chance of rain during the week. I wonder if they will revise this?
