He has a pulmonary (sp) disease. The meds caused him to gain weight, but are improving his health otherwise.

Earlier Jerry stated that he has pulmonary fibrosis and he is taking prednisone (a steriod) which has caused him to gain 54 lbs. That drug also causes the extreme bloating of the face that is evident.

Now where and when did he say "Middle Eastern Cowards",He said it in his opening monologue.......the head of the firefighting association came on to say that other than other fire fighting personnel, one of the first calls he received on 9/11/01 was from Lewis who offered his entire national MDA staff to help in any way possible.....they raised 158 million dollars.
