Evil more powerful than good? (Vanity Post)

I don't know if I am the only one experiencing this, but I am finding my self dealing with more confrontations and issues involving Good vs. Evil.
I find that I am encountering more people with a negative attitude, playing the blame game and not taking personal responsibility. It seams to me that a global philosophy is to be pin the blame on the other guy, whether it is their fault or not. It is the attitude that I am going to screw you before you have a chance to screw me.
What happened to "can't we all just get along" and compassion to our fellow human being?
Do we live in a society that we must prove a point to be right and that everyone who disagrees with that point of view is wrong?
Anyway, Is there any other Freeper that is finding more hostility in dealing with personal responsibility and people with negative attitudes, or am I living in a bubble?

GOOD is more powerful than evil. One must desire to be good. One must pursue good. One must pray to the Lord Jesus Christ to keep us on the straight and narrow path ---- the path of goodness and righteousness.

No you are correct. We are in a moral free fall. It's what happens when people turn there backs on G-d.

I think your idea of evil might need tinkering..."compassion" is not "good." It's just "feeling for somebody." And "can't we all just get along" is a hell of a way for evil to make good men sit on their asses all day long.
There is a virtue in tolerance, but it's a narrow one. Prudence may dictate that removing an evil will require greater evil, but that's not "tolerating" evil, it's accepting the limits of human power.

2 Timothy 3
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

Have you spent much time in Europe? What you're seeing is the maturation of our culture. It's inevitable and inexorable.

It is the [negative] attitude that I am going to screw you before you have a chance to screw me. Yes, we are going to screw Saddam before he screws us. Deal with it.

Why don't you ask the Jihadists that question? I was minding my own business and they decided to call for a holy war against me.

You are right compassion is not an equal for good. Yet when I think of good people, one quality that they possess is empathy and that equates to compassion.
I was not talking about laziness, but personal responsibility. Lately, I find that people are looking for the easy way out and blame people for all of their problems, instead of taking responsibility for what they create in their life.
