Bump for Bush but have to watch Annie N. Her anti gun position has me looking for a different Pubbie to push. Agreed, Annie is far in front of any Dim in the field but watch her on the firearms issues.

First and foremost, I will have to vote for Anne Northup because her only opposition is Jack Conway, who is very much pro-abortion, pro-gay, pro-tax-and-spend. I voted for Anne in '96, '98, and 2000; and there's not even a third-party candidate on the ballot, if one even wanted to go that way.

Now, that being said, Anne's voting record is a mixed bag for sure. She's always been very impressively pro-life and pro-business, but here are her recent ratings (out of 100 percentile) from certain conservative and liberal groups, as documented at Project Vote Smart:

2001 National Taxpayers Union 62 %
1999 National Taxpayers Union 58 %
2001 Gun Owners of America 20 %
1999 Gun Owners of America 43 %
2000 NRA letter grade - C
2000 Republican Liberty Caucus 54 %
2000 American Conservative Union 72 %
1999 American Conservative Union 68 %

2001 AIDS Action Council 60 %
2001 Arab American Institute 67 %
2000 Children's Defense Fund 60 %
1999 Children's Defense Fund 60 %
