"If Republicans ever get really serious about politics, they can easily change the world!"
David Horowitz has a high opinion of conservatives as powerful people, saying that "Conservatives are intelligent, knowledgeable, compassonate, non-confrontational, and tolerant of other people's opinions."
But according to Horowitz, the tendency to be non-confrontational, and overly tolerant in the face of vicious attacks from the left, will leave Republicans defeated, if still "nice," on election days..(snip)

Ironically, Taylor and the Euro-racialists have fallen into a trap set by the multicultural left. The lefts multicultural offensive is an attack on Americas national culture, not on its racial or ethnic composition. Inclusion and diversity are not the real agendas of the left America has always honored both principles, however imperfect their implementation may have been. The idea of the melting pot is an American idea. The left, however, has never been interested in a melting pot that would assimilate diverse ethnicities into an American culture.
The left is hostile to the idea of assimilation. Its agenda is the deconstruction of Americas national identity and culture, of the American narrative of inclusion and freedom. Multiculturalism is not about the assimilation of minorities into the crucible of American freedom, their liberation from American oppression. By accepting the lefts view of itself as a movement for diversity and inclusion, and responding with a call for Euro-centricity and exclusion, the Euro-racialists simply play into the hands of the left and help them to conceal their anti-American agendas.
Under the cloak of ethnic inclusion, the left has injected an anti-American curriculum into the American educational system, in an attempt to alienate Americas youth from its heritage. Under the smokescreen of diversity, it has rewritten Americas laws and subverted its Constitution. It has launched a campaign to institutionalize group rights and racial privileges in place of individual rights and laws that are race neutral.
This is a perfectly diabolical scheme: in the name of diversity and inclusion the left is systematically destroying the framework of individualism and the rule of neutrality that make diversity and inclusion possible. But instead of fighting this sinister attack on the very foundations of the American system, Jared Taylor and the Euro-racialists are eager to validate it. They have even embraced the destructive narrative devised by the left whose purpose is to kill the American dream. Taylors construction of American history in his reply to my commentary directly parallels the maliciously distorted version of the nations history in works of such anti-American fanatics as Noam Chomsky and Howard Zinn.
But isn't attacking your opponent girly girl? This is what I've been told, although I considered it hardball. The democrats play to win, conservatives need to do the same.

The other reason it continues to attract people, is because the young are spoonfed the philosophy in public schools, colleges, and elite universities. It attracts the privileged, the rich and famous, and celebritity goobers, because they long to feel good about themselves. They espouse the rhetoric of the left, because it massages their egos, makes them feel superior, and excuses all their hedonistic excesses. The godless still want to viewed as good, worthy, charitable. It's PR, baby, and wanting to fit in with others just like them. They justify each other's shortcomings.
So few, few people have the personal integrity to admit the things they passionately believed in, in their youth, were dead wrong.
This interview is impressive to me, I wish the rest of the republican'ts had Horowitz' strength of character, and would stand up and FIGHT for what they believe is right.
The left doesn't have the free media ride it once did. Their lies are not simply accepted as truth. We are winning, and we are doing it without President Bush indulging in the gutter politics. Oh, I admit, I would get tremendous satisfaction seeing this administration publicly expose all of the Clintons' excesses, crimes, sins, shortcomings, corruptions, and failures..but really, my instant gratification is far less important than wise governance.
What we need is 50 people doing what he does, then 100 and so on....
Reagan while he was willing to compromise to get as much of his agenda through, knew who his opponents were and rarely missed an opportunity to make that fact known. To my knowledge it didn't hurt him politically, in fact I've never seen a politican more imitated by the democrats than Reagan. That's because not only was he admired by the general population but respected by friends and foe alike.
Republicans/conservatives these days have become too comfortable in their position of power, they need to remember they do have political enemies scheming to run them out. The democrats are terrible at running government, but they're VERY good at politics.
The flip side is that when, say, Ann Coulter goes after Dems, you have some here who castigate her for being "over the top" with some of her rhetoric. We need more "over the top".
