Gore's White Powder Report Called a Hoax
(CNSNews.com) - A report of a mysterious white substance falling from an envelope at former Vice President Al Gore's office in Nashville is now said to have been a hoax. The staff was evacuated. A stamp reportedly on the envelope said "not inspected by the Corrections Department." Officials have not yet determined what the package contained. A state laboratory was to test the envelope's contents for anthrax or other harmful substances. Gore's office manager, Mary Patterson, opened the small package at approximately 1 p.m. EDT. Gore's offices in the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel will remain closed, at least until test results come back in four days. There were about 25 people in the office, but only one came into contact with it. Gore was not in the office at the time.

Poor Al. He'll do anything to get back in the limelight, even fake some anthrax.
Actually, I'm confused. Was the report a hoax, or was there powder that turned out to be a hoax?

Samr thoughts and questions I had.
I figured that Al himself planted the fake anthrax to garner some sympathy and attention.

Reminds me of a scene from Cheech and Chong's Next Movie.

What are the odds that Gore would have been in the office anyway? A hundred to one?
I worked for a small shop that had ungodly long hours and when I came in the owner was already there and when I left, He was still at his desk. It didn't matter if I worked 8 hours or twelve.
Wasn't Gore teaching somewhere or did they fire him?

"Gore's White Powder Report Called a Hoax"
Was the report a hoax or was it the powder filled envelope?
Sounds like a early (late?) April Fool joke from lil' Tommie Dashole.

"I figured that Al himself planted the fake anthrax to garner some sympathy and attention." Maybe the repressed Inner Beta Male is trying to reassert itself?

Stupid staffer. That wasn't a powder laden envelope -- it was a sample pack of Tide.

As D12 said on their last CD " S--- can and will happen"
Al's a hoot no matter if you love or hate him. Beside, he's
married into the International Banker's set, no harm can come.
