Asa Hutchinson's promotion to the DEA should have been enough for even the staunchest anti-legalizer to consider the inherent corruption of the Drug War. Alas, like the 10 year anniversary of Ruby Ridge, the neo-Cons prefer debating troop movements in the Middle East.

Keep it up, never forget.
I lived in Arkansas during that period, even met Jughead in his office. This story is right on, stinks to high heaven. We all had suspicions and rumors back then, and this story fits squarely with every intuition I've had about the corruption and organization.
While I don't accuse Bill Clinton of directly being involved in the murders, I do blame him for the coverup. That seems to have been the pattern, illegal acts by cronies and minions, then covered up when their actions started to float to the top. Just like with OBL and terrorism in the 90's.

I bought and read the book.
Arkansas was, and still is to a great extent, an enigma. Klinton and his predecessors turned this state into a cesspool.

This will never be forgotten, so long as one person such as yourself reminds others. TY for carrying the torch. I saw Linda Ives in the Clinton Chronicles. I still have that video and view it once in a while.

Been a while since I did any "Whitewater Rafting." I kind of miss it.

I met Mara Leveritt at a book signing in Houston. She is a very good author, has been an investigative reporter in Ark. for years. Good book. I talked to her about this case, and she didn't put all the blame on Clinton, she is a Democrat, she told me. But the book is still a good read.

Hard to believe it's been that long... I went to the same school as these boys, though I was several years younger.
