[history]
I was a preacher's kid, so Sundays were church, no doubt about that. The church was the center of our lives. In segregated black Birmingham of the late 1950s and early 1960s, the church was not just a place of worship. It was the place where families gathered; it was the social center of the community, too.

She is also Pro Gary Hart (as a former supporter), and has been instrumental in his gradual rehabilitation with the press. Ix nay on this one. She COULD have done a vastly better job on 9/11. The airliners were a KNOWN favorite terrorist tactic of Al Quaeda. And she merely perpetuated for 9 months the continued 'see-no-evil' policies of the Clinton administration. If she had seriously learned her lesson subsequent to this, she would be death on Middle East and Muslim immigration into the U.S.

I played for about six months for them and then I decided to go and find the Presbyterian Church again. I'm a devoted Presbyterian. I really like the governance structure of the church. I care about the Presbyterian Church. On a Sunday morning, I went to Menlo Park Presbyterian Church [in Palo Alto]. The minister that Sunday morning gave a sermon I will never quite forget. It was about the Prodigal Son from the point of view of the elder son.I knew I liked that lady:>) Good bump thanks

I just copied this article about an hour ago..and sent it to myself in an e-mail.
It is so good, and so refreshing to have dignity and decency back in our highest offices.
I could physically feel a weight off my shoulders as I read her words. We are truly in good hands.
Glad to see it posted on FR. Thanks for the PING!!

Wouldn't that be something, the first female black President or Vice President and she would be a republican. That would put the demoncrat panties in a bunch now wouldn't it? Yes, because unlike the democrats, when we put a black female in the White House, it will not be because she is a black female.

I [liked] that because my father didn't brush aside my questions about faith. He allowed me as someone who lives in my mind to also live in my faith. Her Daddy is a VERY smart man and a very good Minister to reach out to his daughter and all the faithful in this way.

She COULD have done a vastly better job on 9/11. The airliners were a KNOWN favorite terrorist tactic of Al Quaeda. And she merely perpetuated for 9 months the continued 'see-no-evil' policies of the Clinton administration.Dr. Rice had put a plan to take out Al Qaeda on the president's desk on 9/10, which means that they were working on it. Also, how could flying airliners into buildings be a known favorite tactic of AQ if 9/11 was the first time that it happened?

If she keeps praying this prayer, perhaps she will not be pro-choice for long.I was thinking along similar lines. Who knows? God works in mysterious ways, doesn't He?

Hillary, take notes. This is a real woman of God, a truely liberated woman. Its much easier to follow God than try to be God. When you try to be God, you are following Satan's blueprint, which leads to tyranny, and ultimately destructive failure. Condi understands this, Hillary doesn't have a clue. I am so thrilled President Bush brought her on board. She figured it out, life that is.

In many ways, it's a wonderful White House to be in because there are a lot of people who are of faith, starting with the president. When you are in a community of faithful, it makes a very big difference not only in how people treat each other but in how they treat the task at hand. Amen!
