Shawn Hannity was just talking to "Doug". Hannity said he's met freepers wherever he's gone on his book tour and he said that they're great people.

I got chills. Briefly, he mentioned the wacky members - those are the ones who like to flame floriduh voter. LOL

I totally agree with you there. I had to stand back a little from the unwashed minions of darkness at the Orange County rally on Friday night.

Nothing wrong with that - Free Republic is doing a lot of stuff that other Americans won't or don't do. There is a balance between the seriousness of these times and our normal lives that freepers are managing to pull off.

I get to talk to grownup, well adjusted people here who know that they now have a mission for the rest of their lives. FV

Simon was on during the first hour. Sean asked him several times about the illegal drivers licenses and Simon kept ducking the issue. It was pathetic.

A few weeks ago there were some anti hannity threads... I recall Hannity made a comment and the threads started. Plenty of anti hannity sentiment. It was pathetic.

Hannity knows the good that can come from FR, but also can see the bad.

When I read Muth's comments from Friva it reminded me that Hannity probably feels similar.

Eating our own is not good and it is happening with more frecqency as FR expands to near 90,000 subscribers.

Bob, you and I both know how many individual people post per day. The infighting is getting to a very bad point.

I don't know how to rectify this situation but I appreciate all the thoughts that try to find the solution.

At least they carried the book. My DIL tried to buy the book for her husband, our son and for their 3 year old daughter who loves to listen, watch Sean or have Daddy read what Sean has to say to her.

She tried several book stores in N. Kali, and they said they had never heard of the book. She ordered it from Amazon.com when she got home.

I tried to warn her about the liberal book stores in Kali, both independent and chains. Now she knows.
