BTW - Did you get in any plugs for the Network or RadioFR?
Hannity knows the good that can come from FR, but also can see the bad.
When I read Muth's comments from Friva it reminded me that Hannity probably feels similar.
Eating our own is not good and it is happening with more frecqency as FR expands to near 90,000 subscribers.
Bob, you and I both know how many individual people post per day. The infighting is getting to a very bad point.
I don't know how to rectify this situation but I appreciate all the thoughts that try to find the solution.
Geez, Bob! Why can't you just let it rest, huh?
I can't say her name, because it'll get me in trouble; but you get away with making snide comments about her all the time.
Actually, She who must remain Nameless is the reason why Sean was so kind and cordial to the DC Chapter when we met him at Borders Books in DC last Thursday.
Sean had previously been pretty down on FReepers in general because of the loud and obnoxious minority of posters who seem to run rampant on a lot of threads; and he was venting that sentiment a few weeks ago - and that comment of his led to another round of FReepers attacking their own.
She who must remain Nameless found out about Sean's book signing and show broadcast in DC, and she used her good standing with Sean to secure an invitation for the DC Chapter to meet him at that event. And of course, those of us in the Chapter who could go, did.
We behaved ourselves while we were there, and we talked to him and Mark Levin and I am happy that we left them both with a good impression of FReepers. WE all had a wonderful time! And that would not have been possible without the work of She who must remain Nameless.
And because of that good will that was re-established last week (thanks to you-know-who) between Sean and FReepers (not just the DC Chapter - because FReepers in other cities also went out to meet him over the weekend), we (Free Republic) have a chance to mend at least one fence with a prominent conservative voice.
So, for God's sake, Bob. Let it go. She who must remain Nameless was banned; but she still had the kindness in her heart to help us redeem our good name with Sean Hannity.

Classy.
