I found out in january that I had breast cancer. I was operated on and went through chemo. I had my last treatment 8 weeks ago. I had a follow up this week with my oncologist. My liver function levels were high. So the doctor ordered a ultra sound of my liver just to check things out. They found a large nodule on my liver so she ordered a CT scan to get a better look and see if there is anything else there. They found 4 more small nodules. They won't know what they are until they do a biopsy next week. I'm hoping and praying it isn't cancer but, it could be. I'm asking for prayers please.
G-d bless!!
God bless you.
And there are thousands, litteraly thousands of FReepers keeping you in their prayers! We all will be with you no matter what.
You have been and continue to be a tremendous asset to not just FR but the Conservative Cause. And just look around at our country and the world. You have a LOT more work ahead!
For whatever His reason, God is testing you. But as in the song "Mary Ellen Carter":
To you to who adversity
Has dealt a mighty blow.
With smiling jackels lying to you everywhere you go.
Turn out all the strength you have
Of heart and hand and brain
And like the Mary Ellen Carter, rise again!
Rise again!
Rise again!
Though your heart it be broken,
Or life about to end.
No matter what you've lost
Be it a home, a love, a friend.
Like the Mary Ellen Carter
Rise Again!
And don't forget
"The World is always turning toward the morning!"
Those two songs, "Mary Ellen Carter" by Stan Rogers and "Turning Toward the Morning" be George Bok have made a HUGE difference in my life. I came upon them through a friend who had been going through a time such as yours. Her brother, wanting to help but not having many resources, made her a cassette tape and sent them to her. It helped her so much, along with the other songs on the tape, she passed it along to me when I was having troubles.
If you'd like I'd love to send you a copy on CD or tape. Let me know via FReepmail.

Psalm 91 1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the Lord , "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust." 3 Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare and from the deadly pestilence. 4 He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. 5 You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, 6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. 7 A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you. 8 You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked. 9 If you make the Most High your dwelling- even the Lord , who is my refuge- 10 then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent. 11 For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; 12 they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. 13 You will tread upon the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent. 14 "Because he loves me," says the Lord , "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. 15 He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him. 16 With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation."
So it is written, so it is done.
