US troops bring Little League to Afghanistan
The SF guys used an old artillery shell strapped to an old machine gun trolly to make a chalk spreader to mark the baselines. The article says the Afghans are really good at throwing the ball and are deadly accurate (from practice with rocks) but they aren't too good at batting- using a hybrid cricket/rounders stance and sometimes running the bases backwards. Still a good sign overall, I think.
