President Bush will provide a badly needed cash infusion for Bill Simon's gubernatorial campaign when he arrives in California this week to host three fund-raisers.
But the trip also comes at an awkward time for the president, who has sought to distance himself from corporate scandals. He will be stumping for a candidate with a recent $78 million business fraud judgment.

And the politicians and courts simply ignore them. Your governor has assumed "emergency powers", which makes him for all intents and purposes a dictator. The legislature could rescind them, but they won't.
Remember Prop. 2 from 1998 where the voters demanded that the State spend gasoline taxes on roads and highways instead of using the highway fund for other purposes? It passed overwhelmingly with 75% voting yes.
Gray Davis just thumbed his nose at you and loaned part of that fund to the General Fund to keep the state solvent for a little while longer. See Is Gray Davis Looting California Retirement Funds?, especially post #4.

Tell me, why do you think that you must stay in a state so hostile to life (Pro-abortion) against the 2nd Amendment (Anti-Gun) and pro-homosexual?
It's the same old story here at FR time after time, day after day. People obsessed with knowing what's going on in the state they love to hate fail to know what's happening right under their noses in their own neighborhoods....by the people they elected.
Pa.'s high court allows same-sex adoptions
Pack your bags nitwit, it's over for you there. The homosexuals (that aren't in prison for being homosexual) are adopting kids in your neighborhood.
I live in North Carolina.
That would explain why you fly a PA flag on your home page.
Is there any rule on FR that says you must fly the state flag of the state in which you now live?
I didn't think so.
:)
No of course not. If you're going to fly a flag on your "home page" It makes perfect sense to fly some other state flag.
I admit it. I'm not a mind reader. I'll even bet almost 100% of the freepers here would've made the same assumption.
