Condit's wife files libel lawsuit against Star in Fresno

The wife of Rep. Gary Condit is suing the Star tabloid magazine for $15 million, claiming it libeled her by claiming she threatened to kill herself because of her husband's relationship with federal intern Chandra Levy.

In the suit, filed Friday in U.S. District Court in Fresno, Carolyn Condit said the magazine knowingly published falsehoods in a Sept. 11, 2001, cover story, including claims that she threatened to kill herself, trashed the family house and sought counseling.

Carolyn Condit has already sued the National Enquirer. Now she's bringing another libel suit against one of the tabloids.

Condit, and the Condit family have NO earning ability in the real world -- he is forced to use his family (again) to earn an income..

His son and daughter were BOTH previously on the "civil servant" staff payroll --- sucking on the tit of taxpayers...."earning" salaries far beyond their worth or contribution.

Once it was known that Condit lost the primary, it was reported he "paid" his children AGAIN out of contributor's money for "consulting" --- figures over $100K were mentioned.

Now, the bastard is using his cheated wife - to sue!

I read earlier this year, that she had threatened to sue, NBC's, Law and Order television show, unless they issued an apology.

The legal pundits kicked it back and forth, and all concluded it would never go anywhere, since Law and Order issues a disclaimer at the beginning of the show, that these are not real people.

Never heard it again, so guess she decided against trying to shake down "Law and Order."

I just cannot understand why she is bringing this on herself. Did her attorney not tell her that the magazine will have the chance to DEPOSE her and investigate HER AND HIM.

If there was any doubt about Condit, they are going to find it and use it to defend themselves, you can bet that.

She claims he NEVER had an affair with Levy; we're gonna see sworn proof that they did. This is going to be a blood bath.
