From a refurbished broom factory in the west end of Canton, an Internet Service Provider serves up one of the most prominent Web sites of Hezbollah, a group designated by the State Department as a terrorist organization .

The site boasts of how the group "...used one of its own special types of resistance against the Zionist enemy that is the suicide attacks. These attacks dealt great losses to the enemy on all thinkable levels such as militarily and mentally. The attacks also raised the moral [sic] across the whole Islamic nation."

An investigation of several ISPs has revealed that they are hosting the Web sites of listed terrorist organizations. . . . . Read the rest of the article here

"It may well be that government officials regard these sites as being helpful in their intelligence-gathering. In other words, they are of more benefit than harm."

But, have we really considered the converse: that these sites might be more of a harm than a benefit.

I'm going to let my paranoid/conspiratorial fantasies get the best of me: Is the U.S. Govt. forcing ISPs to host terrorist sites? Have we had any indication that some group in the U.S. State Department might be deliberately cooperating with terrorists? (Hint: recent statements that the Saudis are our friends). Is the Govt. deliberately hiding evidence that... the Oklahoma bombing was the work of Iraqi agents, why did the upper management of the FBI deliberately hide info on the 20th hijacker, why did...

You can't fight a war-on-terror unless you've got an enemy.

(I need some tin-foil to make a hat to keep the black helicopters away).

YES!!! It is well known that the State Department (as well as other branches of our government) cooperated with terrorists, incuding the KLA, the Iranian and Sunni (including al Qaeda) mujehadin who fought in Bosnia, and other muslim terrorists who attacked the Serbs. No tinfoil hats are needed, and no black helicopters are involved in knowing about these operations!!!!

The US/Saudi relationship is also highly suspect. Even some government insiders are now beginning to question whether Saudi Arabia is perhaps our greatest ememy, rather than an ally.

There are plenty of muslim shills and enablers in our government (especially the State Department)--it's all about oil and geopoitics. But if we continue to follow their lead, we will be oiled and geopoliticked INTO OBLIVION!!!!
