I know that each of the (few) times I've ever been pulled over, one of the first things that comes to mind to say to the cop is "there are people being robbed, raped and murdered around here (and in my area that's very true), don't you have anything better to do?"
But the traffic stops are revenue-enhancing...

Since I'm not a criminal, I better just cooperate with the cop and let him get on with more important business."

If you're speeding, or driving drunk, his answer would be "no."

They do a fine job. Occasionally they have to put up with crap-mouths such as yourself to get in done. All part of the job.
If you get pulled over in my neck of the woods, I'm rooting for the cops.

But the traffic stops are revenue-enhancing... In 16 years of law enforcement, I have never been asked to write tickets solely for revenue. To get my attention on the highway, you had to commit a clearly hazardous violation like blow a red light or go at least 15 to 20 over the limit (unless it was a school zone). But I didn't ignore traffic violations in between felony arrests, either.

The nations highways are as deadly as the murderers roaming around in our country. We need more police on the roads, not fewer.

Then either drive under the speed limit, or give up driving.
Those seem to be options you haven't considered. They certainly seem more viable than pulling out a gun.
