I know that each of the (few) times I've ever been pulled over, one of the first things that comes to mind to say to the cop is "there are people being robbed, raped and murdered around here (and in my area that's very true), don't you have anything better to do?" If you're speeding, or driving drunk, his answer would be "no."
Don didn't drink. He was a teetotaler.
