#1 WEB SITE FREEREPUBLIC.COM CANNOT BE BEAT FOR NEWS AND ACTIVISM

Freerepublic.com is the #1 stickest web site on the internet can't be beat for news first and activism with success after success. When people get here they stay and become a part of the political force for change that is freerepublic.com.

Thanks to Jim Robinson and John Robinson for giving America a place where they can be a part of something much bigger than themselves. Where when you leave all you think about is getting back to the republic and your friends and fellow freepers. It is exciting and full of news you don't get anywhere else. Why do you think Drudge Report doesn't link here? I am willing to say it is because we are his source. That is just a guess. Matt can correct me if I am wrong of course.

Ann Coulter the number 1 bestselling author is a freeper who says we make her happy and that is something most NORMAL FREEPERS go away from here with, is happiness.

So as you cruise the site and talk with friends and tell others about the best conservative web site remember it is all because of Freepers hard work and dedication to Freerepublic. And of course the hard work of Jim and John Robinson.

There are many A FreeRepublic wanna be out there but None, not ONE even comes close to the #1 FreeRepublic...

I told them that I SAW it fall. Then I introduced them
to FreeRepublic.com. I was ahead on the news of every non-Freeper that day.

Same here.. The QC lab was packed, Plant Management office
packed, and Shipping office packed.. all looking for the latest
news.. QC and Management were hopelessly jammed up looking for
MSN news or other sources.. while the Shipping office stayed right up on top
of events via FR... sent the poor fellows links until they figured
out where to get the latest. Since then, I have actually
had my a$$ chewed for being unaware of an airport closure..
"Why didn't you pick that up from FR?"

It's definitely #1 for news.

All news not just US news! We really are The Free Republic Worldwide Network. And no matter where something happens you can just about count on the fact that there is a Freeper on the ground or near by ready to post. In some cases, a first hand account, in other cases news stores from the local TV and radio about what is going on. We get the stories that don't make it into English newspapers too.

Being able to put my 2 cents in on the issues doesn't suck either.

I often find myself searching for the "post" button on other news websites. But it is not just being able to give my opinion but also that I will read an article and there will be the nagging feeling of "there is something off here". On FR just scroll to comments, chances are someone else has noted it too.

For one thing, I feel "Free" here. Where else can you author your own thoughts and if you don't make a complete idiot of yourself, the networking begins and we become part of the conservative movement which I believe will experience an expansion that history has never seen.

Besides you all are so clever. It's a real pleasure to communicate with most of you. (no comment on the disruptors) LOL Floriduh Voter

Visit my profile page. Most of my threads are optimistic, different and sometimes, I get the lib viewpoint posted here for us to dissect from the St. Pete Times here in Florida. Thinking positive is the driving force in my life.

However, I am not naive when it comes to libs. I started a Daschle Dem Watch Ping List just recently. If anyone wants to join that, please freepmail me. We are looking for joiners and for pings re: your rat reports. floriduh voter

Help me out will you and post some of the reasons you love the site and the different success stories Freerepublic has had over the years

#1 reason: this site was, in the words of rep. Henry Hyde:"the main reason Bill Clinton was impeached". I'm so proud of being a part of that piece of history, and when our grandchildren ask: 'what were you doing when that monster clinton was ruining the western world?' We can say we fought the good fight and we weren't 'shoveling socialism in Louisiana...'

Oh, yes, you are soooo right. Your posts are uplifting and positive! Put me on the DumpDaschle ping list.

Thank you for your work in Florida. There are many others working hard to DumpDaschle - and THAT is the bumper sticker I want. DumpDashle/Hillary - Vote Republican!

What would give us all a greater victory dance than to get rid of this little tinpot dictator and his dictatress giving orders beind the scenes??? Remember HER power will be downsized if the Demrats are OUT OF POWER in the Senate!

The opposite also happens regularly. I think some of the more conservative types in the media "mine" this forum for angles and stories.

I know that's true. One of my posts last summer appeared in an LA Times story five days later verbatim. The really fun part was that story went on to be the biggest political embarrassment to Dan Blather to happen, possibly, in his entire career. THAT made me feel great, and gave me a marvelous sense of accomplishment.

Community, education and humor. I like being around intelligent and witty people and FReepers are the best! I am always learning something new and making new friends. It's not only the first and foremost place on the web for news, but also a great place to learn about any number of topics. Seems there isn't a question that can be asked, that there isn't a FReeper who has an answer.

Good on you! Anything that ruins Dan Blather's day is okay in my book. I have read too many articles that used certain turns of the phrase and ideas presented just so to not believe that the mainstream folks are not cherry picking the Free Republic. Like I said, I'm all for it.

"I know some new FReepers were created that day." (9/11/01)

I had been a lurker since the "White Water" threads of long ago but soon after that day I could no longer free load on this site and I registered.
