Are we supposed to be inspecting light bulbs before we buy them, or what?

No, just check them before you turn on the lights. Of course, if it's dark, you'll need a light to see if there's a problem ... And if it isn't dark, why are you turning on the lights anyway?

Ok, I'll ask: How many FBI agents does it take to change a light bulb? :-)

So what are the terrorists doing? Sneakin' into our homes while we're asleep, filling the lightbulbs?

I like how they include "how to make your own explosive lightbulb" instructions in the article.

A few comment sprang to mind involving dim bulbs, but I'm not going to bother. The FBI is doing a fine job of imploding on their own.

this might just be a straw man, a ruse...
what if the real target is our televisions. imagine the terrorists drilling a
tiny hole in our boob tubes and filling them with, say, gumbo and W231. can you imagine
the confusion that could be caused on sunday during nascar?

How long before Grey Davis tries to take credit for the blackouts as an "anti-terrorism measure"?

And of course no one would notice that the light bulb they just bought was filled with a liquid, and patched with an adhesive......"Gee, this bulb is kinda heavy - oh well, I'll try it anyway. Here, hold muh beer."

This light-bulb technique was in the 1981 CIA vs Soviet sponsored Terrorist movie "The Amateur" starring John Savage, which was based on a novel by Robert Littell.
Also seen in a few other movies, so this is a great coup for the Feebs, they've discovered a proven technique.

I'd like to see someone drill a small hole in a glass bulb without shattering it -

,,, I saw the lightbulb trick in a film years ago. The victim was in a prison cell. Can't recall the name of that film though.

I learned to make explpoding lightbulbs when I was about 12 years old. Boyscouts, I think, or else Army improvised Munitions Handbook

That was 'the longest yard'

Sorry. Searches came up empty on any recent posts on "bulbs", "lightbulbs", or "FBI warnings".
