Since his residency is Allentown, Pa. he no longer lives in his district. I don't see how he can run legally.

This poll is flawed.
I can't participate.
There are only Yes and No votes
Where are the "Moderate Undecided"?

Even one of his congressional opponents says Traficant is legally qualified to run for Congress from Ohio.

You nailed it CW....besides the fact that it could prove very entertaining, especially if he actaully won. The more havoc it creates the better IMHO.

He should run under the "Crooks For Congress" banner.

Sorry. "Crooks For Congress" is a registered trademark of the Democratic Party.

Somehow it just seems more honest and natural for a congressman to serve from jail.

Absolutely!

The only difference between Traficant and the other Dems is a "Different" set of bars in front of him. He i9s surrounded by criminals just like the other members of Congress.

He lives in Ohio at least as much as Dick lives in St Louis.

NO big deal.

There are a lot of "registered" voters in Chicago that no longer (ahem) "live" in their respective voting districts.

When a politician is imprisoned and says it's a frame job, then a vote by the people might say whether that's true or not. I'd let him run for that reason.

Beyond that, I think the law already permits it. For that reason, he should also go ahead and run.

Total Votes: 702

Let's take it OVER THE TOP! Remember, this poll is being featured on the FRONT PAGE of the Youngstown Vindicator. Vote HERE.

HEY! Why no movement on this poll? It was getting SOOOO close to the MAGIC 50% YES vote when suddenly no more votes are being cast. Maybe you don't believe me when I told you that this poll is being featured on the front page of the Vindicator. Take a look for yourself HERE

What gives? This poll jumped almost 13 points in a very short time and now it is suddenly stalled at a little over 47% YES votes. It shouldn't be any problem to knock the YES votes over the 50% mark. Vote HERE.

And in case I didn't make myself clear, vote HERE.
