My point exactly! I read that "survey" and almost spewed my drink. CNN is the "Coca cola" brand for news networks. They have a higher brand awareness then the FNC. Well, at least CNN has something to show for the dollars they shed on worthless shows like Chung and Headline News. Yay CNN...go keep touting your own horn, we know what's up.

Heh, not in the original books! CNN is called "CNN" there, and eventually "CNN/GCN" ("Global Community Network"?) after the Antichrist or whoever buys up everything on the planet.

I pretty much gave up on the books after the fourth one. The concept is quite interesting, but the writing was just too sub-par IMHO, and the characters one-dimensional. I can only imagine how much shallower they'd have to become to fit into a 2-hour movie, unless they had some great screenwriters.
