ALL OF THIS sensational reporting about homosexual activity in the Catholic Church is doing Catholics a favor. Obviously the closets needed to be cleaned out, and the publicity is getting it started.
But arent the newspapers dancing around the central problem not daring to mention it? Are they afraid to mention it?
Years ago in medical school, I learned that many homosexual men try to recruit young teenage boys 11-, 12-, 13-year-olds, boys who have not yet clearly established their sexual identity as men.
The thinking then was that some young teenagers can be guided in either directions into heterosexual relationships, or homosexual. I realize the current politically correct concept is its in the genes, we were born that way, it cant be treated or prevented, etc., but all professionals dont accept this P.C. reasoning.
Have you noticed that the majority of the predatory homosexual clergy claim to have been abused themselves when they were teenagers? Doesnt this mean they were recruited by an older homosexual, and co-opted into a homosexual lifestyle?
Isnt it time the Church, and the press, faced the fact and told the truth straight out? Some homosexual men do try to enlist young teenagers in homosexual activity and they do it time and time again, often for 20 or 30 years or more, ruining dozens of potentially normal lives in the process.
The public knows it, parents know it. Thats why parents try to keep their young teen boys away from homosexual neighbors, homosexual scoutmasters, etc.
We cant solve the problem unless we look for it honestly. The press focused a spotlight on this mess now the press could do us another great service by calling a spade a spade.
When Msgr. Eugene Clark in New York did exactly that last month he received a nationwide blasting by homosexual pressure groups. Marianne Duddy, executive director of the homosexual activist group Dignity/USA, blew her top, labeling his analysis as incredibly horrifying and irresponsible. Does this barrage from such groups scare off honest analysis and criticism?
Some of the abused kids go on to life as a homosexual. Many of the others are psychologically crippled still breaking into tears 20 years later when asked about the event.
The American Catholic Church has a lot of clean-up work to do, and the American public needs to look past the gay/lesbian news releases and pay attention to whats really happening to so many of our kids.
I hope our press will keep pushing on both issues.

Their deviant, burning lust drives them.
No way we should "tolerate" their lifestyle.
Homosexual seduction of a minor should be a death penalty crime.
Yes, the BSA is still the homos' number one target as evidenced by this page from the Lambda Legal Defense and Education Fund.

Unspeakable truths have been accumulating around us for decades, in time with the ascent of the Give-No-Offense school of public discourse. (For now, we will omit the conspicuous exception to the GNO doctrine, i.e., that a "liberal" is free to say vicious things about a conservative or libertarian, and no one will call him to account for it.) GNO became popular in America when we decided that "tolerance" and "condonement" were one and the same.
Bluntly, they are not.
There are several excellent reasons to say that a man's sexual orientation should be a private affair, not a matter for the law or the courts. None of them can be translated into reasons to approve of his behavior. If his behavior is damaging to him personally, as homosexuality has been shown to be, then it's a vice, something we should educate our young ones to avoid, and steer them away from whenever possible. If he reaches out to damage unwilling or unknowing others in pursuit of his vice, then he's committing a crime, and we may legitimately invoke the force of the law.
Though it has always advocated separating the sin from the sinner, deploring the former and reaching out to the latter, the Catholic Church has long discouraged its seminaries from admitting applicants who were homosexually inclined. The Church is a private organization, with no powers of coercion, so it has a perfect right to do this. In recent years, with the tailing-off of vocations among American men, the stricture has been relaxed -- and now we see what comes of embracing this vice.
If homosexuality were something it's safe to condone, the Church's sexual misbehavior problems would be comparable to the Boy Scouts -- but public commentators have been reluctant to reflect on the Scouts, with their much-reviled policy of shunning homosexual Scoutmasters, and their success at protecting their most vulnerable charges.
Given that there is an active youth-recruitment element in the homosexual community, and that, whether overt or covert, this element can be seen at work over centuries of Western history, it makes perfect sense for responsible parents to shun it. If their churches fail to do so, those parents will leave the churches out of simple fidelity to their obligations to their children.

Upon analysis, it would seem a great many of the pervert RCC priests (the great majority of all priests still good, though) have gone into the ministry not necessarily to help people (out of some altruistic 'Good') but rather to hide something, or otherwise become closely associated with the polar moral opposite (purity, Good, religion) of the filthy, secret indecency that has overwhelmed their private lives and for which they are ashamed, struggling, self-hating, yet still hiding. I think this phenomenological problem is not in Catholicism alone....
The truth of this problem, the kernal of this problem, IMHO stands boldly in front of the very faces of the liberals and PCers, akin to a 2-tonne elephant, and some of these pathetic cannot even see it. It is the age old problem of homosexuality and it's selfish, uncontrolled and narcissistic enthrallment with male, seduceable youth.
Concur.
The problem is the lying, coniving gay perverts who are like flys on society .... whatever they don't eat they sh*t on...
I hold the entire RCC clergy responsible ... even the "good" ones because they aid and abet this disgusting rape of young boys by the others and will not go public and will not grab a hold of what's left of their dignity and say.... ENOUGH!!!!! I am witnessing an abomination and a lie and sin and have allowed it to go on by not being a vocal opponent and condemn what is hidden in the RCC. It makes me want to puke everytime I see the hierarchy come up with some other lame excuse or program to help the perverts and to try to hide or payoff the victims..
Yes, it is. But they (the Church hierarchy) doesn't have the courage to do so. They are cowards, and their cowardice has led to severe harm to thousands of innocent teenage boys.
Of course it does. The media has never been so muted and cowed on any issue. The bishops are in the same boat. They are all cowards.
Of course the public knows it. That's also why a heck of a lot of parents won't be letting their sons out with a preist anytime, anywhere. We cannot now trust a priest with our sons. That is shocking. Men who walk (supposedly) in the path of Christ cannot be trusted with our sons. The Catholic Church can jump through hoops to try and finesse the issue of the massive queerization of the Church, but unless homosexuals are rooted out, parents will NOT trust their sons with priests. The Church hierarchy is telling all of us that it cares more about whether the feelings of homosexuals are hurt (and the condemnation it gets from doing so) than it does about whether parents can trust a priest with a teenage boy. At the end of the day, when a parent can't trust a priest with a teenage boy (the current state), the whole idea of 'in persona Christi' becomes a sham.
You've summed up my feelings as well. All of the priests and bishops and the pope are responsible, because they've known about this for a long time. And they put the welfare of young kids dead last. Our Church has become the Church of Sodom.
Boy Scouts puts the safety and well-being of teenage boys FIRST; the Catholic Church puts the safety and well-being of teenage boys DEAD LAST. Shame on my Church. You're right; even if parents stay with the Catholic Church, they will never trust priests again unless the Church is de-queerized. A Church where you can't trust the priests is only a feeble shadow of itself.
