Hannity Blasts FreeRepublic (maybe he is right)
Radio
| Sean Hannity

Hannity just stated on his radio show that he has just about had enough of the conservative cannibals on this board. To many threads end up being ledd about news and information and more about attacking fellow conservatives.
He said if he wants to get attacked he will go to a Liberal board.
I have a tendency to agree...

What I don't understand is how anyone could be a left winger? All they stand for is garbage in this day and time. Among those are Abortion, sexual degeneracy, homosexuality, "Free Sex", extreme environmentalist agenda, anti-Constitutional measures, big government, heavy taxation, anti-traditional values, anti-family, anti-rural Americans, Pro-Multiculturalism, etc., etc., etc.
They're very misinformed, evil, or outright stupid.

To many threads end up being ledd about news and information and more about attacking fellow conservatives. ledd. Is that a verb? An acronym?
To: discostu
IMHO Sean tends to be a border line instigator at times.

No flame from me. I agree. Civility is in short supply on some threads. Amazing how many people have to "spit" and "scratch" and "claw" in order to get their point across--or, as you said, build themselves UP by tearing other people DOWN. It is honestly embarassing at times.

Maybe his make up was not on right or he had a hair out of place and was having a bad day.

I know a woman who, right before marriage and up until the birth of her first child, displayed evidence of feminist beliefs. She also had a sour attitude at times.
Now, she is a stay at home mom with two children, she's friendly, nice, never sour, and she doesn't like the idea of "liberated" women. I think that having children changed her belief system.

I think Hannity heard you. He just said he was disheartened by the direction FR was going. Said if he wanted to be yelled at he could go to a DU site.
------------------------------------------------------------ What's his problem?? He can give it, but can't take it. His yelling sometimes on Hannity and Colmes provokes me to change the channel.

"Celebrity" conservatives should have VERY thick skins before coming here to post in their own identities. Celebrity status means little to many of us. It means nothing to me. If William F. Buckley were to show up to puke his inane pro-dope views over these boards, I'd rub his nose in it in a heartbeat. And I wouldn't even say, "Pardon me Mr. Buckley."
I'd like to meet one "celebrity" conservative whose ego wasn't so swollen and tender that he or she could actually weather the flames as well as many of the rest of us peons do.
A "celebrity" conservative could post anonymously, I suppose, and thus create some cover for the delicate and oversized ego. I suspect some do. Someday it would be fun to find out who they are (were).

Now wait just a goldurn minute! You cannot put Allan Keyes in that sentence and expect anything but dirision. Don't you get it? You are the enemy. Anyone outside the Liddy Dole wing of the GOP is the enemy.

his article... Sadly, that was my thinking as well, habs ... though I got off easy ... if we are going to talk about name calling ... he threw many out there ... and even had the nerve to call me ... hurled it at me, actually .... Robert Frost ... HAR!
I was hoping to advance to the likes of Steinbeck ... but I had to go cook dinner instead ....

Keep running longtime friends and posters of FR off, folks. Who needs 'em, anyways.
And, in the words of JimRob - about ANOTHER misunderstanding with one of our FRiends in the media:

Posted on 03/26/2001 13:48:49 PST by Jim RobinsonYour constant carrying on about Rush Limbaugh is overblown and overdone. If you don't like what he says you might consider one of the following options:
- Turn the dial
- Wear earplugs
- Take a break
- Get some rest
- Get a job
- Grow up
- Shut up
- Get a little
- Get a life
- Buy a clue
I guarantee you that there is nothing you can say about Rush Limbaugh that we all haven't heard or read about at least a million times. So, if you are incapable of coming up with some interesting or original material, put a sock in it! That is all.

"Come November vote the rats back to the stone age." We need a modern day "Pied Piper" to deal with the country's infestation of Rats.

I'd have to side with habs4ever on this. Bush pretty much tells the Palestinians to dump Arafat on the ash heap of history, and comes out with a pretty solid speech and position on Israel - one that does NOT sell Israel out, and Mark Levin was still slamming him.
Personally, I'm tired of those who allow perfect to be the enemy of good enough. I have been quite irritated at a few of the threads that have descended into little more than circular firing squads, or squabbling. And sometimes it's not even an issue of what the problem is, it's how best to solve the problem, or what approach to take. Basic questions of strategy and tactics sometimes divide us, on occasion they bitterly divide us. I believe that if this is not dealt with soon, I fear that the Left will win in 2002.
Everyone on this forum needs to decide whether what we agree on is enough, or if we will allow an occasional disagreement to be enough to split us up and let the Left take over. I'm going to say up front that I think that allowing the Left to win is NOT acceptable, so I'm going to stick here and do what I can. However, if I think the wrong strategy is being used, or if there is a potential problem that could hamstring us down the read, I WILL speak up.
I will also say this much: As someone who is still madder than spit about the backstabbing done to Bret Schundler last year and Ollie North in 1994, I will NOT look favorably upon backstabbing that will elect leftist Democrats, and this applies to RINOs and the right EQUALLY.

Having both the left and right hate you is also very bad for a President and Bush has achieved that Then how do you explain that his job approval rating is still anywhere from 69 to 73 percent? I think you are mistaken re: the numbers that 'hate' President Bush.

To many threads end up being ledd about news and information and more about attacking fellow conservatives.Hannity was advocating implanting our children with the liberal "mark of the beast" chip, a couple of days ago. That sort of pissed me off.
