Does it seem that the number of traumatic brain injuries, genetic defectives, and freaks of nature is over-represented in the Jihadist population?

Al Qaeda's web site promo:

Give me your blind, wretched brain inflected masses, your lame, your lame-friggin'- brained, your dufus's, your plain and simple Lindh-y limp wristed fooly boys, your ugly monkey looking motheroos, your can't shoot straight gang, your dumb-sh!t shoe bomber wanna-bees that can't figure out a lighter, etc, etc, etc

I hope Archibald Mohammed does not slip away!

LOL, yes, that is true. My thought is, that maybe there is a lot of stuff going on in the background that we know nothing about. I am hopeful that our bumbling government really, honestly may be trying to nail some of these dirt bags, before they can do any damage.

By that statement you obviously don't know a lot about what the Homeland Security Agency is and its structure.

I don't understand people like you, Tex. If there is some point you want to make, just make it. There is no reason to say something insulting. You don't know who I am or what I know.

My point was simply that we didn't need a massive reorganization of government or an increase in the size and expense of government for the FBI to do it's job in this case. I doubt the HSA is going to improve it's effectiveness and efficiency.

And, your point is?

...investigators believe officials and members of the mosque were trying to establish a terrorist training camp in Bly, Ore., Fox News has learned....

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

The small community of Bly (population of 300) is home to a school (K through 8), post office, 3 stores, gas station, 3 churches and a pre-school. Older students travel to the high school at Bonanza, 45 miles away. Residents enjoy a wide range of outdoor activities both winter and summer, as well as community sponsored events like basketball, softball, or card parties.

Yeah, nobody would spot an Al Qaeda training camp, in Bly. He he. Ideal.

Maybe the Feds only make this stuff up after a few beers on Friday night, Knak?

That could well be true. I don't know if there is another shoe to drop but I would sure hate to be the "official" that decides the threat has been minimized and then another successful attack takes place.

Another former member of the mosque is also now in custody and suspected of plotting terrorist attacks. His name is Semi Osman and he too is accused of having documents about poisoning water supplies in his possession when he was arrested.

Semi Osman is the guy who was a member of the Naval Reserve in Tacoma.

There's a simple thing one can do to reduce any worries about this for themselves. Just keep a pitcher of drinking water in the fridge, and keep a second pitcher of water in the kitchen. Refill the fridge pitcher from the second. In the time it takes to drink down those two pitchers, you will have already heard on the news if your water supply was poisoned.

So for the cost of a couple of plastic pitchers from the dollar store, you won't have to worry about the risk of ingestion. Yeah, there's a slight risk from brushing your teeth, but the amount is so minute and the odds so heavily stacked against this happening that it isn't worth worrying about.

Yes it is a MASSIVE reorganization that will consolidate 22 departments under one point of accountability. The FBI is not a part of the HSA. The HSA has no law enforcement organizations other than the Coast Guard, customs and border patrol. You may think that consolidation is expansion but that is not the case. The fact is that this will make 21 administrative departments and 98 congressional committees obsolete.

This is great news that they were caught but bad news because there must be many others like them.

BTW, back on the morning of 9/11 I did buy about a dozen gallons of bottle water from the grocery store, just as a precaution. At $.59 a gallon, they came in plastic bottles, but more than a third have sprung a leak, although they were stored in an interior closet, where the temp never has ranged beyond 60-80 degrees. Is that normal(cheap materials) after a certain amount of time? Wondering if I should buy higher priced replacements if the containers will last longer. Sheesh, I thought water was water.

And that, my friend, is a VERY good thing.

I've got a 55 gallon blue polypropylene water barrel in my crawl space, with an appropriate amount of bleach added for long-term storage. I have food, radios, and other items for CD readiness as well.

I recommend all consider their own readiness, and how it can be improved. This also prepares you for the aftermath of a severe weather event.

I am coming to beleive that Clinton knew about all this terrorist crap going on in this country, and blessed it, and allowed it to flourish with the agreement that the attacks would happen on the next guys watch. What an evil bastard?

It is while they've got true foreign terrorists to work on. When they're gone, I'm not sure I want greater governmental efficiency.

Every time that low life dog Moussouai requested his trial be moved to Denver because it's quiet there, I felt that he was sending a signal to someone in Denver.

Last year an AlQaeda ring was discovered to have swindled Qwest out of millions of dollars in a phone scam.

One wonders if anyone at the FBI or homeland security offices are paying attention to this madman.

Yep. But many believe this is sinister effort on Bush's part to create his own Gestapo.
