"Zig Zag" Zell Miller Strikes Again
7-21-2002 | FreeAtlanta

Posted on 07/21/2002 8:20:24 AM PDT by FreeAtlanta

I have seen Zell's Marx Cleland for senate ad to the point of repulsion. Zell had my vote, now he has lost it. What the heck is he? He supports conservative bills, now he comes out supporting a lying socialist that could keep Tom Daschell as the Senate Majority leader!!! What is Zell? A man or mouse? Please write him, and beg him to stop supporting Max Cleland, and for him to support a Conservative candidate.

Here is his email. http://miller.senate.gov/email.htm

Here is the rest of his contact information;

Washington D.C. Office

257 Dirksen Senate Office Building
Washington DC 20510

Phone: (202) 224-3643
Fax: (202) 228-2090
TDDY: (202) 228-2105

State Office

1175 Peachtree St., NE
Atlanta, GA 30361

Phone: (404) 347-2202
Fax: (404) 347-2243

Why did he have to do this? I first lost support for him when he backed off on his one term run for Governor, then it was reinforced with his support for clinton. Then, he changed my mind with his consistent support of conservative measures in the Senate. Now, he has done something that is unbelievable. He supports that Marxist Cleland. sigh... Maybe, he will confuse Cynthia McKinney's constituancy who hates him because of his support for her opponent?

Kind of like the liberal's John McCain. Too bad the media don't wear the same knee pads around Zell that they do around McShame.

He's a Democrat from a conservative State. He "says what he says" to get elected, he "does what he does" because he's a Democrat. What you are seeing is fruit from the tree and the fruit is how you should be judging.

It is time wake up - no Dem could be trusted and writing to them is a simple waste of time - on any critical juncture they will tow party line regardless of everything else.

We should learn to treat all politicians as crooks until they prove without a doubt they are not.

Gee, a southern Democrat who TALKS conservative but VOTES libeal? Who would have guessed? Zig Zag Zell works to keep liberals in power and has a "conservative" rating on par with Olympia Snowe, yet we're supposed to believe he's 10X "more conservative" than those "yankee Republicans" with a 90% conservative ratings. Heck, even MODERATE Republican squishes like Sen. Dick Lugar (R-IN) and Mike DeWine (R-OH) have a clearly "more conservative" voting record than Zig Zag Zell.

Vote for Zell? Would you vote for a REPUBLICAN who has a record of worshiping FDR, helping elect Clinton, and says things like "I've always supported a woman's right to choose"? Didn't think so.

I'll admit Miller is more "conservative" than ULTRA-liberals like Teddy Kennedy and Di Feinswine, but who isn't? Paul Coverdell is spinning in his grave. There is no reason to elect someone who votes with the liberals 40%+ of the time when he represents a seat that was held by SOLID conservatives.

In the aftermath of EVERY single DemocRAT Senator voting to acquit Bubba the rapist traitor, it should have become apprant to freepers that there are NO conservative Democrats left in the Senate. Period. Zig Zag Zell wasn't in the Senate at that time, but anyone with half a brain knows he was a Clintonite as governor. Anyone who thinks Miller has dropped his loyalities to the 'RAT machine is naive. He may vote against them half the time but he'll work his butt off to keep them in power. If Coverdell was still alive, Dasshole would be a crybaby minority leader as we speak.

Breaux, Miller, and Nelson simply throw conservatives a bone regularly to ensure their conservative states will keep them around and thereby keep Dasshole in power.

Mouse - who sometimes votes the right way.

Just like the most important vote that any member of the House of Representatives casts is for Speaker of the House, a Senator's party affiliation is paramount over every other issue in deciding who "controls" the Senate.

Get more "R"s in there. I hope that come next January we have 54.

Zig-Zag Zell uses conservative rhetoric and distances himself from his own party so he can help get his liberal buddy Max Cleland re-elected. Zell is no conservative; a lepoard can't change his spots.

Its likely Sen. Miller is going to retire in 2004 anyway. He's not raising any money, something senators must always do unless they are a Corzine. I've also seen a poll somewhere I can't remember that Rats in Georgia are ticked off at him and he is in danger of losing the RAT primary should he decide to run again.

Indeed.

At one or another, I think we've all been duped by a phony "conservative" candidate who tells everyone how he's such a independant centrist who believes in traditional values. For example, I proudly supported Vicente Fox for President of Mexico in Dec. 2000. I was wrong. Now I wish the Mexican Senate would just impeach that socialist traitor and have the PAN party pick a "president" who will govern HIS country instead of trying to dictate our policies.

From my observations, it seems about 1/3rd of all Democrats try to run as conservatives (or at least campaign for the conservative vote), although at least 90% of Democrats are scumbag Clinton/Dasshole loyalists. So my rule of the thumb is never trust a Clintonite Democrat for the U.S. Senate (or any other for that matter) again. NEVER.
