President Bush headed to Alabama today to discuss strengthening the economy. Bush met Walter Howlett Jr. of Booker T. Washington Insurance Co. and Kathy Jones of Honda Manufacturing during a roundtable meeting on the nation's economy with business leaders in the Ayls Stephens Center at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. While in Alabama, the Senate overwhelmingly passed the Corporate Responsibility bill, with sweeping reforms of corporate accountability. The President returned to Washington later in the day. Where has Laura been? I always check the pics on Monday to see if there are any photos of them walking from Marine One when they come back from Camp David. I didn't see any today. The media is probably acting like "cranky pants" and are depriving us of photos because they are jealous of the Republicans!!! Sorry, I needed to rant and rave a little. Daschle and his slimy buds put me in a foul mood.
