I saw a few threads here yesterday about the Inglewood cop thing. I expected to see comment posts all about revulsion at the PC media's latest propaganda. I expected to see criticism of the Uncivil rights leaders (racebaiting demogogues) that will use this to spread hatred of white people everywhere and justify criminal behavior (and of course take from our wallets).
But I didn't. Instead I saw a very few brave conservatives standing up for law and order being relentlessly bashed by a much larger bunch of, well, I don't know what.
As to the matter discussed: The criminal idiot kid attacked and hit the cop hard enough to produce a gash on his head. When people are hit they usually hit back, whether its cops or anybody else. At most the guy should be briefly suspended without pay or written up (that's what would happen if this country was purged of PC lunacy).
But there's a lot larger issue here: Why some people here of all places would make a huge big deal over a criminal who cracked a cop in the head getting thrown down is just amazing.
So what do you people think will happen now? Well I'll tell you. Exactly what usually happens. The cops will catch fewer criminals, and crime will go up, because that's what happens everytime there's one of these media driven racebaiter PC love-in cop hater fests (riots will most likely follow).
You guys are furthering the PC movement motto: "white cops are out to get all black people?" all just to increase crime and liberal victimization propaganda (and most likely government spending on social programs to help "poor unfortunate victims" like this kid). What is wrong with you? Are you a bunch of liberals or something?
'cause you're sure helping out their cause.
I have a feeling we're looking at liberalism=failure, he of the "must-read" cop-bashers-suck vanity yesterday.
Perhaps something will emerge to vindicate the suspended officer. Meanwhile, it *looks like* he went too far with a surrounded and cuffed suspect.
Now, this is a police officer. He had every right to defend himself. He had every right to use force on the perp if the perp was attacking him. But when the kid was subdued and in custody, neither the officer or his fellow officers had the right to bash the kid on the hood of the patrol car or to take it further as these police officers did.
Any of this making sense to you?
Only and spineless wimp would strike a guy while his buds held him down. I don't give a damn if it's an officer or not!
FR is now the repository of so many libertarians and conspiracy theorists that calm, rational thought is screamed down as soon as it appears.
The libertarians are apoplectic over the thought that cops might take away their "right" to ruin your neighborhood with drugs, prostitution and abortion mills; Conspiracy theorists think that the Commies are under their beds and the cops are evil miscreants out of a John Woo actioner, waiting to kick in their doors and send them to concentration camps.
Simply put, there are a lot of crackpots and nuts here lately.
And then, of course, there are the conspiracy theorists who think that the libertarians are under their beds, waiting to feed them drugs and make them have sex with prostitutes, since that's the only thing any libertarian cares about - right?
Eeeni-weenie, chili-beanie, the Spirits are about to speak ...
Is that you, liberalism=failure?
Indeed. I do not know if law-and-order conservatism is dead, but I am pleased to note that the rumors of the death of common sense are greatly overstated.
To deny that there are a few officers who abuse their authority is tantamount to willful blindness, IMO. It seems to me that a true law-and-order conservative has a vested interest in rooting out those few wrongdoers as quickly and efficiently as possible, so that they do not taint the vast majority of honest, hardworking men and women in uniform.
Of course, if you like Clinton/Reno's shreding of the Constitution, perhaps you'll like President Hillary.
Let a jury determine the damages.
