Not everyone can make it to the FRiva Conference, but here is a way you can take part and help bring FRiva to YOU and all FReepers!
HELP BROADCAST THE CONFERENCE ON RADIO FREEREPUBLIC!
RadioFR is planning on broadcasting from the conference, but this requires a budgetary committment that we just don't have right now. To broadcast the entire program, Laura Ingrahams speech on Friday, the conference on Saturday, Bill Lind at lunch and the Dinner and awards portion that inlcudes speeches and comments from Rich Galen, Chuck Muth, our Eagle Award winners and other notable FReepers, will require approximately $2000 in studio, engineering, telephone and bandwidth costs.
Although this event is not expensive as far as conferences are concerned (we've worked hard to keep the costs down), it is understandable that not everyone will be in a position to attend. However, you can still be part of it, support the Free Republic Network efforts to bring education, information and training to grass roots conservative activists AND help RadioFR broadcast FRiva by making a contribution to these efforts! Every $5-$10-$25-$50 will go a long way toward making this event a success and helping Free Republic insure a conservative ascendancy in America!

I brought up the link, but it won't take the last four numbers of my credit card.

As you can see -- I did use the link at #2. Go there and hit the button to go to the 'Secure' page and the above is what I got. Seems fnord did too. I recall there were also problems with the FR Network a few months ago; maybe check with Nick.

Thanks to a tip from another Freeper, the problem was solved. The line for credit card numbers won't handle any spaces. Now why couldn't I figure that out myself?

Well, I think I found the gremlin; the <font color=#000066> isn't set off with quotes, as <font color="#000066"> -- and the rest of the line is flashing and ignored.
Sloppy Microsoft ignores it; Netscape locks it out. :^)
