the Case of the Freeper FRiva Feva - Contest resolution...

Well things didn't go exactly as planned the last few days.  Thanks for hanging in there.  The dilemma I'm face with is that if things would have gone as planned, we would have had three nights contests ending tonight.  With two nights bombing out, we're two contests shy of the full program.  Now we've run into the July 4th holiday.

I could just call the game now, but I don't think that would be fare.  Those who have been striving to catch up would have two less days to do it in.  Anyone just dropping out of first would be caught unawares as well.  We should have two more night's contests.  Here's what I'd like to do.

What do you all think about us taking the holiday off, then holding two more contests on Monday and Tuesday next week?

Next Monday would be the next contest after tonight's.  Would that be acceptable to each of you?

Please let me know what your thoughts are on this.  Thanks for playing.  I'll read all comments made by midnight tonight p.d.t.  I'll then make a post regarding the final decision.  If you guys make some comments, I'll be checking in later.  I will respond.  We can go back and forth on it for a bit if you like.

I would like to have a day and time posted when the next contest will be running. Also, how long is this contest running for? Just the general rules too. Plus, the other day, you posted a day by day results. That was very nice. Other than that, I can't think of anything else. Of course, that option will be left open if I do think of more questions or comments. ;-)
