I need your help to stop this!

The Susan B. Anthony List attended a "closed door" meeting on Capitol Hill last week with the staff of the pro-life leadership of the U.S. House of Representatives.

The Susan B. Anthony List was asked to help fight a critical pro-life battle currently in Congress.

That is why I am turning to you for help!

HERE IS THE BACKGROUND ON THE ISSUE

On Friday, June 21st, the Senate voted to allow military abortions at military hospitals abroad. Senator Patty Murray's amendment -- which also passed -- included a lot more.

This is only half of what it included! It also removes the ban on abortion in military hospitals in the United States.

Not only does it turn military hospitals into abortion clinics, but it also allows for federal funding to provide for abortions by subsidizing the cost of the building, properties, materials, etc. That means your tax dollars could be responsible for abortions in military facilities.

AN INTERESTING NOTE

When the Clinton administration lifted the ban on "privately" funded abortions in military base hospitals in 1993, all military doctors refused to perform abortions at their field hospitals.

ACTION NEEDED

Please e-mail your Congressman and Senator to ask them to UPHOLD THE BAN on abortions performed in Military Hospitals overseas AND in the United States. Taxpayer dollars should not be used to fund abortions!

I just had a good friend visit me here because she's going to go to the University of Missouri this fall. She had her orientation, and enrollment and stuff on campus, and when they come to the "health center", they orientation leader said "we have birth control pills, condoms, and morning-after pills..." I was disgusted... of course it shouldn't be surprising, but nonetheless when liberal crap hits close to home its pretty shocking...
