Why did the homesexuls celebrate today?

On the way to see Charlie Daniels in Chicago today I noticed a large group of homosexuals marching down the street yelling about how proud they are of their perversion. Is there any reason they were doing this today?

I think today was the gay pride parade in Chicago. I got an invitation from Mike Weiler, a state rep candidate from the Lake View/Boys Town area, whether I wanted to march. I decided to sit this one out.

A saturnalia of fecal pride would be more accurately expressed on a Saturday but, having it on a Sunday adds an exciting flavor of insult to Christianity that is such an important motive to homosexuals who desire to be "in our face" (please excuse the unfortunate imagery) as much as possible.

I don't know why they had that parade but I guess it has something to do with the month of June. Yesterday there was a gay pride parade in Orlando and I read today in the newspaper that there was a huge gay pride parade in Paris (over 500,000).
