[history]
What's hot now is "NASCAR dads," the folks who show up by the hundreds of thousands for what used to be called "stock car races."
The Democrats appear to have just discovered this electoral fact and are publicly admitting they have a "NASCAR-dad gap."

To: Lockbox
...publicly admitting they have a "NASCAR-dad gap."The Libdem/Chicoms should admit having an "Out-of-touch-with-most-Americans gap" - sooner rather than later...

I know Dubya has! Here he is with the greatest driver of all times!!
To: glock rocks
boink!

For the life of me, I don't see how a majority of the MEN at Nascar events could be getting ready to vote for the PC/Hollyweird Democrat party this fall. That boggles the mind.

While watching a recent political ad here in Michigan during a NASCAR race, it was a Bonior for Governor ad. The ad talked about clean air and water and the need to reduce pollution. It also talked about the need to cut air pollution in automobiles. This probably wasn't the place and/or time to talk about forcing Michiganians to drive hybrid Geo Metro's. Can you imagine all these NASCAR dads listening to this!!! This was a free promo ad for the Repubican party if you ask me.

I notice I didn't know Reagan went to NASCAR event somebody just told me on another forum
There is cool photo out there Reagan leaving on Air Force ONe and Dale Earnhart Sr won that race in 1985

I can see it now...the 2010 Nascar Solar Powered Race! Winning car burns up the track at an incredible 15 miles/hour, driven by Al Gore! Sponsored by the ACLU.
Yes this will get those NASCAR Dads voting for the RATS!

When Slick Willie was campaigning pre-1992, he latched onto the coattails of fellow Arkansasian Mark Martin for a walk through the garage area at Talladega. The good ol' boys and their crews booed and jeered at Klintoon, calling him a draft dodger.
Bring the demos on.
(Demo derby, anyone?)

They can try!!! I'd rather see the RATs waste money trying... so they won't have much time lying somewhere else.

Let's try that with a server that's a little more reliable (i.e. - NOT Geocities!):

LOL - I give up!!

According to the latest edition of "American Rifleman" the NRA is launching a huge recruitment drive at NASCAR events as well. This should make for some interesting interaction. I have a feeling the NRA wouldn't be trying this if they didn't have a pretty good idea of the leanings of NASCAR fans. I wish the democrats best of luck-they're going to need it.
