If I can say just one thing to the folks from FR and FD who’ve rushed to our aid it would be: thanks. The pseudo-intellectual gangsters at GU had hoped to have strangled us by now. They were up for a quick mob attack, break a few cyber-windows and a bit of virtual lynching.
They didn’t expect us to stand our ground, they didn’t expect to be stopped dead and they certainly didn’t expect to find the forces of the New World rolling over the hill. If our moderators did a fabulous job of breaking up the incoming attacks (and they did), your support rams home the point that FB can not be silenced by a bunch of posturing thugs screeching the slogan d’jour.
If I can say more than one thing, then I would point out that this episode is exactly why Liberals fear the Internet. As I’ve said in other posts, a large part of Liberal strategy is to depict Conservatives as an isolated, fragmented, fringe. Well, now, that crackling sound is the Liberal’s media monopoly going up in a smoke. Against this background, GU’s actions are those of a Buggy Whip manufacturer fire-bombing one of Henry Ford’s factories.

If I were feeling really garrulous, then I would point the real message of the arrival of our friends from out west. We are joined together on these three boards by a common heritage, originally British, but over time incorporating the best of each country. What we saw when our friends from FD and FR came to offer their support was the best of the US. America’s two greatest contributions to our culture have been the belief that good government must be good morally as well as merely tactically, and the belief that the business of America is the business of every American. The ordinary American has both the right and the duty to help shape what it means to be American.

That feeds into what’s happening here. For all their moralising, most Liberals believe all morality is relative and altruism is simply well disguised self-interest. Hence the liberal obsession with conspiracies. Ordinary people can’t oppose Liberalism on moral grounds, the CIA must have put them up to it. Yet now Liberals must face this fact: when the folks on FD and FR heard what was happening, they made that decision to stand with us. They could easily have said “Who cares ?” or “Too bad”. They didn’t, they decided to stand up and be counted. Liberals can screech, libel, threaten, and even kill, but they can never succeed as long as ordinary citizens are prepared to look behind the curtain and expose the blood-splattered, monstrous abomination of modern Liberalism.

A whole grip of Liberals attacked Free Britannia. The attack seems to have originated from a British Paper, The Guardian and its online forum.

I saw a request this morning from one of the FB admins for assistance.

Looks to be over now...Like all Liberal attacks...hot & heavy until you punch one of them in the nose. Then they all seem to fade away.

When FR was down, sometime ago, the FReepers were warmly recieved to the FB FD web sites .... how can we forget the hospitality? VERY TRUE!! This can't be stated enough. Their assistance in OUR time of need was beyond gracious even including our own FReeper Room to use.
