Thanks to Matt Drudge, I may have found the solution to a problem I have! I am a nightowl, and find it difficult to wake up early. But TODAY, I had my alarm and radio set for 5 AM for Drudge on KFI.

Why didn't I, talk radio junkie, ever think of this before? Of Course! Wake to TALK RADIO!

Drudge is doing good. The Morning Crew is sharing the stage with Drudge, too, which is entertaining. It's actually pleasant morning banter.

So, you don't usually listen to the Handle show or KFI?

Oh I listen to KFI all the time, just not Handel. I don't dig the built-in self loathing to this format.

Built in self loathing? You may have a point, I have noticed that the guys co-host or "co-banter" tend to do a "dumb blonde" routine. It's their shtick and it's working because Bill Handel's Morning Show is a Top-Rated show!

Another show does the same thing. KPLS 830 AM's Laura Ingrahm's show, on from 9-noon. I like it, but again, the host is surrounded by an entourage of self-depreciating men...

Matt Drudge is not one to do that, he tends to be very confident. Maybe the Morning Crew will learn to love themselves from his example! :)
