Why they are not marching? As Barry says, they had no problem marching and rallying at a Palestinian rally but when on US TV last fall, it was always "BUT" - and squiggly phrases like "we condemn all unjustified violence against innocents."

Define unjustified, violence and innocents. Their meanings are not the same as everyone else's; they meanings are colored by the dictates of islam. And anyway, if we don't wipe out the radicals, the moderates will not gain the strength or the courage to speak out.

Jihadis kill moderates everywhere; last week they beheaded a 23 year old MUSLIM woman in Kashmir on her wedding night for 'collaboration' with the Indian police. In Algeria, they murder their Muslim brethren wholesale. Tashbih Sayyed, a courageous journalist from Pakistan hiding in the US becuase of death threats (WWW.paktoday.com) rants against the jihadis and is forced to seek sanctuary in America. The list goes on and on. The moderates need our help big time. If they don't feel comfortable enough to speak out here in the US, imagine the level of intimidation and coercion they're under by the Jihadis of whom, one group, Al-Fuqra, run by a guy name Gilani in Pakistan, who Danny Pearl was trying to meet, has been responsible for stabbing an imam in Arizona and has murdered indian doctors in the USA - Seattle.

Respond to me, I respond to you. That's how it works. Report me if you like, it's all the rage these days, but I have every right in the world to speak harshly against a religion that demands its followers to kill and destroy my country and my faith. And I will continue to do so without any regard for what you will or will not stand for.

There are many sects in the Muslim and Islamic religions. To call all muslims terrorists is total nonsense and shows just how uneducated people are. Farber should also know better. Why hasn't Farber reached out for some of these? more moderate muslims? Can't find any? Thats nonsense. Not good copy? Not good talk radio? The percentage of radicals in the muslim religion is a small percentage of total muslims and their beliefs. Though they do control many of the Islamic Organizations, which is a problem. BTW, in case your wondering, I am Catholic. Though I have many muslim friends, Some are even FBI and USSS Agents. Many are in the military and hold the Constitution closer than many others.

Just because someone is a muslim does not mean they are terrorist, killers and traitors.

How about declaring death to all non-Muslims? Is that a threat you're willing to stand for? Because it's one of the basic tenants of the Islamic "faith".

There are many sects, true. Many of the smaller ones like the Admadiyya in Pakistan are severely per secuted. Sufi Islam in Kashmir has been virtually eradicated in PakistaniKashmir. As it was in Afghanistan under the Taliban. Shiites are persecuted by the Sunni majority in Pakistan. The Wahhahahabis of Saudi, Sunnis, finance most of the mosques in the USA and preach that only their version of islam is valid and all others are useless. This wouldn't matter much except the jihadis subscribe to this, the most well financed branch of islam.

Why does Farber have to reach out? Visit the 'islamic' sites like islamonline and arabnews and gulfnews; read the literature.

And anyway, shouldn't American muslims be more in tune with the modern world? Why are the imams of America preaching Wahhabism? Because they are trained in Saudi and financed by the princes.

Why is it that any statement of truth about islam is taken as an attack upon it. Only a country like the USA would offer the very religion in whose name it was attacked a soapbox.

And what does the USA get in return? Recriminations, fingerpointing, blameassigning and a general call to read the Koran and become well versed in islam. Many people have and their opinions are based on having read extensively about Islam after 9/11.

And then to be told, by the 'moderates' that 9/11 has led to a great flowering and interest in Islam as i was told by an imam acquaintance of mine, expressing pride and joy in Americans interest in islam, conveniently forgetting that it was a act of horrendous mass murder that caused that 'interest' in the first place.

Yes I admit that a lot of the teachings are problems and the infiltration of the groups is also a problem. Yes American Muslims need to reach out. But, even better, both need to reach eachother. Some are trying very hard but get very little press. It is just not news worthy. I refer to to this site however.

Informative site, it seems. Perhaps you should try posting some articles from it once in a while. And moderates like Kabbani should make pests of themselves with the WH and FoggyBottom where the radical types seems to be ascendant in being invited for photo-ops and the like.

if we don't wipe out the radicals, the moderates will not gain the strength or the courage to speak out.

There's a greater problem here. How do we identify moderates in a faith that promotes "blessed lies"? According to the Koran, any act committed for the purpose of advancing Islam is sanctioned by Allah. It stands to reason that while one faction of Islam is engaged in jihad against non-believers, another faction, moderate on its face, is engaged in a campaign of lies and disinformation for the sake of Islamic preservation. Even the most radical Islamist understands that a Western war against Islam will bring about the destruction of Islam. He also understands that the legitimate religion status Islam enjoys provides access to the countries they are obligated to destroy. It appears that "moderate" Islam is working hand-in-hand with "fundamentalist" Islam towards the same goal.

I don't doubt that "moderate" Muslims do exist, but I would argue that they aren't "True Muslims". A "True Muslim" understands the words of the Koran and embraces the violence and hatred of Mohammed. To denounce violence and hatred of all non-believers is to denounce the Koran, and by obvious extention, Islam itself. It just doesn't mesh.

So when we say "moderate", we really mean "misinformed". We're referring to those Muslims who don't understand what it is their faith asks of them and what Islam seeks to achieve (world domination through violence and slavery). But how do we seperate them from the "blessed liars" who can tell us to our faces that "Islam is Peace" without so much as blinking, because Allah is smiling down on them? How do we weed out the good from the bad in a religion that makes no distinction between wrong and right (as in, it's all the same if it's in the cause of promoting Islam)?

If you read the newspapers from the Arab countries (all writing approved by the goverment)m and see the hate directed towards Jews and Christians, then what Mr Farber writes is entirely correct. Sad, but true.

It has been a long road for Kabbani. He has been shut out by those at Foggy Bottom and that hornets nest on C Street. But since 911 he and his organization has been making progress. They have been a pests, slowly and quitely. Its to bad that the press does not give him or his folk more time than it does CAIR. Now Farber if you want to write some good material here is an excellent source.

Actually, I have a greater depth of philosophical ideas on why things are the way they are. The historical behaviors of human, and the current culture. For example, the way women dress in sexy revealing outfits that are intended to get men sexually attracted to them? LOOK, BUT DON’T TOUCH phenomena? However, it is too complicated to discuss our culture in this forum. What I wanted to say, however, is the Moslem intellectuals, or the Moslem Men, are threatened by our culture, and feel like they can loose control of subjugating women to be sex slaves, as the Prophet Mohamed had instructed. I don’t remember the exact words of the Koran, but it says something to the effect of; take them (women) any way you please, and any time you please, and if they resist beat them with the whip. Always hang your whip up front so that your wife knows what she is going to get if she refused you, or give you any back talk.
