This is a statement from another thread circulating on FR about the spiritual war we are engaged in: Baptists have angered other religious groups with their statements and tactics. I don't believe that is true. While there certainly are Americans who hate America and would like to see the evil succeed, they are few and far between. I believe what we are usually seeing in our liberal friends is more a failure of knowledge and understanding than a failure of morality. More than that, it's a denial of knowledge, because the truth is just too awful to contemplate. These are early days in this war-- it's going to go on a long, long time. The truth will become more and more apparent.

I live among moslems. I find this little girl to be an exception rather than the rule among the children. Usually the kids are very glad to see me, they smile and wave and are eager to touch and be with me.

Their parents are polite and friendly, to a point.

There are some who are taught to hate early on. There are many who develop hate as they grow older.

It's not so much a religious thing. It's really cultural. Religion and culture in the middle east is so well tied to each other that it's difficult to seperate BS cultural ideas and religious ideas.

I saw a video of this interview with this little 3 year old on Fox News yesterday.

It sickened me and really made me realize that this war on terror is permanent.

If we are able to even make a dent in the terrorists that hate us now, it won't matter because they are raising a whole new crop of little Jew and American hating terrorists.

I really think it is a religious war but not to be waged as nations wage war. We (Christians) are at war with powers, principalities, with the spiritual forces of evil in high places. We must take our religion to them or God will bring them to us. We need to convert the heathen.

I ALSO think that the USA country ought to wage war with the nations which aid and abet terrorism and wipe their sorry behinds off the face of the earth.
