Companies with Islamic ownership ties

A thread yesterday, Caribou Coffee 88% Owned by First Islamic Investment Bank, suggested a place for listing companies with Islamic ties. This would allow individuals to know whether or not their dollars were being spent with firms with ties (potentially) to radical Islam.
It's not my place to organize any boycott of any firm. Conversely, this thread is not meant to create a boycott; it serves to provide information.

Well, why not?It's more meant to inform, so that you can govern yourselves accordingly. In some cases as opposed to some sort of boycott, it may mean providing information to some of the other investors/stockholders. If Islamic firms own a small portion of a company, the other stockholders may not know about it - and may be inclined to buy out said firms/individuals.
It takes a bit of work, as it were...
